The Marmitek Powermid XL receiver receives the RF signal from the Powermid XL transmitter and retransmits it as an infrared signal to AV devices. The RF signal passes through walls and floors, so the remote control does not need to be in direct line of sight of the devices.

It works with original remote controls and plugs into a power outlet. No software or driver installation is required. It is compatible with satellite receivers, DVD players, VCRs, set-top boxes and stereo systems.
