EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3080/3090 Active Backplate - acetal, is a high-tech accessory for the EK Quantum series. It is designed to complement the existing EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3080/3090 cooling blocks, offering active cooling on the backside of all EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 FTW3 GPUs.

The EK-Quantum Vector FTW3 RTX 3080/3090 active backplate features a new connector replacing the standard connector of the Vector water block, connecting the cooling block and the Vector active backplate into a single unit. Thus, the whole assembly only requires one inlet and one outlet, eliminating unnecessary tubing and reducing clutter.

This is a solution of high aesthetics and performance, with the GPU placed between two water blocks for maximum cooling. The active backplate Vector directly cools the hot spots of the PCB located behind the GPU core and the VRM (voltage regulation module).

The base of the active backplate is CNC machined from nickel-plated steel, while the top is CNC machined from durable black acetal POM. The rest of the backplate is made from black anodized aluminum and does not come into contact with the fluid. These Vector Active backplates are also equipped with acetal clamps that match the top cover. Waterproofing is ensured by quality EPDM o-rings.
