Tecsun Q3 Radio, FM with station recording.

Features MP3 and line In audio input.

  • FM radio recording: Listen to your favorite radio station and make a recording at the touch of a button. With the line in input, connect an external audio device and record from these as well.
  • Voice recording: Make an environment recording or connect a headset with a microphone for more accurate voice recording.
  • Micro-SD Music player: Playback of audio tracks or favorite songs in MP3, WMA, or WAV format. It even works as a speaker for a computer or external audio device.
  • Frequency range: FM: 87 - 108 MHz / 76 - 108 MHz
  • Tuning methods:
    • Automatic Tuning Storage (ATS). Automatically finds and stores (strong) stations.
    • Automatic scan tuning. Automatically finds the next available station.
  • Basic features: The advanced neodymium magnetic speaker produces a beautiful sound with a power of 3W (D: 40mm / 4 Ohm).
  • Note: A micro-SD card is required to make recordings (not included).
  • More:
    • 1 GB can record for 15 hours (maximum micro-SD size is 32 GB), that is approximately 480 hours of music or voice.

    Very beautiful, made with good materials. Its speaker is very good for its size. Although it does not have an antenna, it catches many stations.
    I am very satisfied with this radio, I have not tried the card so I cannot say, the reason I bought it was purely for the radio.

    Excellent radio.
    Advantages:
    1. With ATS (Automatic Tuning System) it caught and saved 73 stations while I was in my car in Athens!!! It doesn't even have to be a ham radio receiver. You press a button and from there on, all the stations (it doesn't have a maximum memory capacity, it simply saves ALL of them) are registered and ready for listening. Tuning duration is about 1 minute, for when you change prefectures.
    2. SD card up to 32GB for radio recording and mp3 playback.
    3. Smaller size (and thinner) than the jbl go.. and for those who are not familiar with the comparison, let me say that it is about half the volume of the average 6.5" smartphone. In other words, it only doesn't fit in the small pocket of your jeans.
    4. Sound. Comparable to the JBL Go, its new rival honestly causes interference, and whoever understands, understands... I have no words..
    Disadvantages:
    1. Battery. Its duration is very satisfactory, it lasts almost 12 hours before needing to be recharged, with speaker usage always, but the charging cable is mini and not micro usb. Why does the tecsun sockets, which are outdated technology, come loose on such a good product?
    2. 3.5mm jack. In the headphone output, it does not isolate the speaker!! But for what other reason would someone use headphones or another output source in the line out other than to NOT listen from the speaker? This is also the reason why one star is missing from my evaluation.
    Conclusion:
    If you want a pocket radio, for listening to radio or mp3 exclusively through the speaker, that has excellent sound, long battery life, and amazing reception, don't look any further.
