I have been wearing Stan Smiths for decades because they fit all situations, they are sturdy. They are also low, stable, but lightweight so that the foot does not easily get sprains and can be active and exercise.

However, for winter, Stan Smiths are not suitable because they are low and not waterproof, they get wet. Also, they are light-colored and a light-colored shoe does not match in winter.

If someone wants to find a shoe with the above good characteristics of Stan Smiths but for winter, they can easily choose the Berkshires.

They are very high, well above the ankle, completely waterproof, with a non-slip sole surface, warm because they are not canvas but made of leather with light internal insulation.

The sole has arch support, it is not without support like the regular All Stars. In general, the shoe provides support to the foot, especially at the ankle where there is a bony surface around it. In contrast, regular All Stars have absolutely no support at the ankle.

Also, in terms of appearance, I think they look great! They are sporty but in a simple elegant way. You will feel like you are walking like Superman and your own self.

I wear size 45 and found the Berkshires in size 45, exactly a size 45.

The best color is dark on top with a white sole; dark on top with a dark sole doesn’t look good, you will look like a clown.

They may be the best shoes I have ever bought, just slightly behind them are the Stan Smiths.
