I was very pleased with the retinol from the same company, so I decided to try the vitamin C as well, and it did not disappoint me! First of all, it really smells like vitamin C, reminiscent of the vitamin syrup we were given when we were kids (at least in my generation!), but it is not annoying and fades away shortly after application. It absorbs very quickly, so it should be applied with quick motions and can be comfortably used for serum layering. Personally, I put it straight in the fridge; after applying it, I use a day cream and facial sunscreen, and they layer without any problem. It has not caused any reaction on my skin; there was only one time when there was a redness for 2-3 minutes, but the previous night I had used salicylic acid, so every time I use salicylic acid, I don't apply vitamin C in the morning, and everything is fine. After application, the skin definitely looks more even and radiant. This is the third vitamin C I have tried, and by far the best; it will be hard for me to switch to another.
