I do not recommend it for living rooms, only for bedrooms. In living rooms, the floor suffers, and hard varnishes are needed; this one is very soft and not resistant to wear and impacts, like most water-based finishes. I have had it for 10 years, and the living room requires constant maintenance and a change of varnish. In bedrooms, it is okay. Anyway, I would not use it again; I would prefer the old two-component varnishes that are immortal and last at least 20 years
