Description
Inspired by Photographers
Every element of the FUJIFILM X-T30 II is designed with photographers in mind. From the operation with external controls and the compact, lightweight body, to the latest generation APS-C sensor, it ignites imagination and inspires creativity. Additionally, the X-T30 II combines top features, such as the rear touchscreen and the discreet built-in flash with a vintage aesthetic, to make photography a truly exciting experience.
X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
The fourth-generation X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor is at the heart of the X-T30 II. The 26.1 MP back-illuminated imaging sensor minimizes noise while also extending sensitivity to ISO160. Additionally, the unique X-Trans color filter array structure reduces color distortions without the need for an optical low-pass filter.
X-Processor 4
The quad-core X-Processor 4 works with the X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor to provide a combination of image processing that can offer various film simulation options, opening new horizons of creativity through the way colors and tones are captured. Significant improvements have also been made to the camera's ability to track moving subjects, optimizing autofocus in capturing photos and 4K/30P video.
Color
Great images need great color and Fujifilm's exceptional heritage in color science, now perfected after 85 years of experience. Each Film Simulation produces specially formulated depth, saturation, and tonality that require little or no post-processing.
Film Simulation Types
PROVIA
Based on FUJICHROME PROVIA, a film designed for professional use, this film simulation mode is suitable for all types of subjects, offering neutral color reproduction.
Velvia
Based on FUJICHROME Velvia, an extremely vibrant film designed for professional use, this Film Simulation mode provides richer and more intense colors than PROVIA. It is the favorite of landscape photographers.
ASTIA
Based on FUJICHROME ASTIA, a film designed for use in fashion portraits, this Film Simulation mode prioritizes soft and faithful reproduction of skin tones while also reproducing vibrant blue skies and greens.
CLASSIC CHROME
This film simulation feature is designed to replicate a look similar to 20th-century magazines. The low saturation and hard tone gradation in shadows make it an ideal choice for documentary photography with a touch of realism.
PRO Neg.Hi
Based on the PRO160NH, a color negative film for professionals, this film simulation mode has a slightly harder tonal gradation than PRO Neg. Std. It is mainly used in portrait photography where lighting is not easily controlled. It provides excellent shadow details as well as highlights.
PRO Neg.Std
Based on the PRO160NS, a color negative film for professionals, this film simulation mode has a soft tone gradation and excellent skin tone reproduction. Ideal for portrait photography under carefully controlled lighting, the neutral tonality lends itself to post-processing.
Classic Neg.
Based on SUPERIA, a film loved by generations of photographers, this Film Simulation mode provides high-contrast tonal gradation. It adds depth and clarity to colors by adjusting their hues into shades and shadows while simultaneously reducing saturation.
ETERNA
Based on ETERNA, a film designed for motion pictures, this Film Simulation mode minimizes saturation to ensure that none of the colors stand out. It provides an extremely smooth tonal gradation and deep shadows to prevent contrasts, reproducing a cinematic look.
ETERNA Bleach Bypass
This film simulation feature creates a Bleach Bypass effect in ETERNA mode. It produces a high contrast and low saturation look, adding a touch of depth that many filmmakers love. Ideal for a more dramatic feel
ACROS
Based on ACROS, a monochrome film renowned for its extremely fine grain, this film simulation mode offers rich shadow details and exceptional clarity, while also adding grain at high ISO and creating the stunning texture feel of monochrome.
Monochrome
For black and white images Available in standard mode or with yellow, red, or green filters, the latter will deepen the shades of gray corresponding to complementary hues. For example, the red filter darkens the blue sky.
SEPIA
This feature adds a warm tone to the frame for a vintage look. When applied to a retro theme, it creates a nostalgic finish.
Adjustment
Settings function
The X-T30 II makes it easy to create your own unique photographic style by combining Film Simulation with other effects, such as film grain texture, color depth, clarity, sharpness, and shadow tones. All these customizable options are displayed live on the EVF and the LCD touchscreen, allowing you to create stunning effects and save them as presets.
Grain Effect
From a soft texture to the hard look of a traditional high-quality film, with the X-T30 II you can easily add natural-looking noise to your photos, controlling its intensity and size for perfect results.
Color Chrome Effect
Use the Color Chrome effects of the X-T30 II to add depth, detail, and natural vibrancy to red, green, or yellow tones in your image, where saturation is too high to achieve true gradation, or use the Color Chrome FX Blue to adjust the blue tones of an image. Adjust them separately, in three levels to perfectly match your subject.
Best in Category
Automatic focus
The advanced autofocus technology of the X-T30 II uses dense detection pixels and advanced algorithms to achieve the best autofocus in its class. Reaching high speeds and operating across the entire frame, the X-T30 II ensures that you are perfectly equipped to seize every opportunity.
Film feature
Many of today's cameras have 4K video output, but the X-T30 II captures unique footage with an original resolution of 6K. This means that the camera provides high-resolution footage with relatively low noise and stunning clarity. It also supports shooting in DCI format with a 17:9 aspect ratio, for high-quality cinematic appearance. Fujifilm's unrivaled expertise in color also benefits video. When creating movies, you can use any of the 18 different film simulations of the X-T30 II to add your own distinctive look to the footage, including ETERNA, the cinematic film used in many cinematic masterpieces.
Full HD 240p high-speed footage
The X-T30 II records high-speed Full HD at 240fps. Playback at normal speed results in smooth, high-quality footage with slow-motion effects up to 10 times.
F-Log
For greater flexibility in post-production, the X-T30 II supports F-Log video format, which allows you to record movies with a wide dynamic range, enhancing details in highlights and shadows. Using the F-Log View Assist during recording also gives you an equivalent BT.709 preview on the LCD screen, to help you visualize what an edit might look like.
Other Features
Shooting functions that suit any conditions
The X-T30 II adapts to the way you want to create images. For excellent results with minimal hassle, the AUTO setting offers intelligent, fully automatic shooting. Choose manual mode to have full control yourself and select Aperture Priority for front-to-back sharpness or background blur in your image.
