Just don't forget to set 48Khz 16 bit DVD Quality in the Control Panel -> Sounds and "allow for Desktop Apps" in the Microphone settings. However, there are cheaper OEM cables available. Together with the NoCableLauncher software from Github, you can play Rocksmith

    It does its job just fine. The length is almost 3.5 meters. It's not braided, but it's "semi-rigid" in terms of how it bends. I changed guitars in-game that have different tunings and didn't encounter any problems. The only downside so far is that it doesn't have good response with guitars with a single pickup, so it requires a bit more force in playing to detect dynamics.
