With a 4ah battery tested, which I had from the Bormann cordless screwdriver and on 2 cm thick hard wood planks. Although the saw is not made for this, it can cut straight if you know the basics, without difficulty, with the basic blade that comes with it, so with a Bosch clean cut I have no reason to believe there will be any issue. It is quality, powerful, and for amateur use in my case, more than enough. Good purchase and judging from the quality of its materials, it has good assembly, is a sturdy tool, and for the use I make of it, I am sure it will withstand the test of time.
I also cut with clean cut....at 1 for precision and slowly because I wanted to achieve that it did not look like it was cut with a saw in a kitchen cabinet...The result is I believe half or maybe one notch below a disc saw....absolutely satisfied, the saw is very good.
03/03/24: I got stuck on cutting old cabinets from a thick wall mounting screw....the saw could not cut it as it is logical especially with a blade for wood on top....from that point on, I opened it to see if it had been damaged and for maintenance with oil and grease...everything is metallic inside and judging from the handle and its plastics, it is an amazing machine. It is worth every euro and if it breaks, I will find the same one.
