The Psittacus Hand Feeding Neonatal is an enhanced food suitable for all breeds of parrots. It can be given as the exclusive food from the first day of life until the first feathers appear, or as a supplement to parental feeding. It contains a high ratio of egg powder, as well as papaya which enhances the digestive system.
Daily consumption: Newly hatched chicks require 8-9 feedings daily. In the first few days, we give the food quite diluted, but then we increase the ratio of the cream. The amount of food per feeding depends on the species of parrot and its metabolism. The use of Hand Feeding Neonatal is recommended until the 21st day of the chick's life. For older chicks, it is good to use a cream from the next category (e.g., Psittacus Hand Feeding Mini or High Energy), depending on the species of parrot.
