I got it to record high-resolution video on the iPhone 15 Pro, it does its job perfectly, the only thing that would be convenient is if it had a short cable

I have had the drive for about 3 years and I bought it for around 70 euros. I haven't had any problems with it except for the fact that sometimes it loses connection without the cable being moved, but I never lost any files. Its size and build, combined with the fact that it has a type-c cable, make it easy to carry. At the price it is currently sold for, one might find a similar product with larger storage, although since it is a portable drive, it is better to perform frequent backups, so the 500GB is not necessarily a negative.

In October 2025, two months before completing two years since its purchase, files that were stored began to gradually "disappear" and now, a month later, reading/copying almost all files is impossible. When connecting it to the PC, it almost always crashes the entire operating system. Every possible repair and potential upgrade was attempted, without result.
The hard drive is used in a desktop (amateur use, exclusively as backup), it is not moved and has never suffered any drop/impact or observed dangerous temperature increase.
Years' worth of files were lost. I recommend not trusting this device.
UPDATE 12/01/2026: QServices received the device just two days before the warranty expired (05/12/25), diagnosed the fault and proceeded with a credit. This was followed by a ping-pong with You (supplier) and Skroutz (sales platform), until the refund was completed.

Fast hard drive, lightweight and very easily portable due to its size.
The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's too 'plasticky' as a material and, besides that (rarely), it disconnects.

One year plus of use... Mainly for storing and watching movies and less for gaming... And the hard drive started to malfunction... It started rarely freezing and needing to be removed and reconnected to work... and then this happened more and more often...

It still works but now, sometimes during a movie it stops 2 or 3 times...

Looks like we’re going for a new one... In just 1.5 years...

Good quality, but speed is not 2000 Mb/s, as reported, according to Blackmagic test.

Owner of 4TB. Quite fast (7.75GB files in 5 seconds), but it needs its own cable (type-c to type-c) or equivalent. Another cable (humble) transfers files at 30MB per second.

I have a MacBook Air and I bought a Kingston XS2000 USB-C External SSD 1TB two years ago, which has proven to be very reliable. It has a small size, which makes it a very good choice if you want to have it with you all the time. The speeds they mention are relative, but compared to other drives, they are much better. I highly recommend it!!

I use it on a Macbook pro M3 pro for time machine and file transfer, and it has been convenient for me. It is small in size and has speeds over 900mb/s verified with Blackmagic. It seems high quality. Time will tell its durability

Copying and transferring speed to the Kingston XS2000 4TB SSD = 28MB. With a brand new Lenovo 3.2 Laptop. Otherwise, the description holds true.

At some point when it was needed as a boot drive for multi-boot on a laptop, it proved problematic as at random times communication between the laptop and the SSD was lost, resulting in the operating system crashing. The SSD's firmware had been checked and was at the latest version. The solution was to buy the corresponding Samsung SSD, which, as it turned out, did not have such issues. I remove 2 stars for this reason. If someone just needs it for static data storage, it does the job and is fast.

Update: Without being used often, after about 2 years it stopped working. Probably due to overheating because of the high temperatures it developed during data transfer. I remove another 2 stars for this reason.

I did not give it 5 stars because I had to buy a USB-C female to USB-A male adapter, which is not included in the package, and I am not sure if it can support the cable's speed. Other than that, it is very good.

The disk is truly incredibly fast and half the size of a 2.5-inch SSD. Simply awesome

I can't reach the speeds it claims on my computer, but I'm also a generation behind (maybe 3.1 or even 3), however, when it writes or loads games stored in there, everything happens quickly and the workload doesn't reach 30-40%. It's worth its money (I have the 2TB version) and for future use on a newer computer, etc.
Update: After a year and a half, it crashed and won't recover, so it's unreliable... They replaced it with a new one, but I lost everything I had inside before.
