  • I liked the writing style
  • I would recommend it for reading
  • Paper quality
  • I would never comment negatively on a book with such content because it is simply real facts that are deeply engraved in the heart of every Christian

    It is an EXCELLENT edition;
    perhaps, the most reliable;
    I have had it since its first release.
    ⚠ Of course, it is NOT for everyone;
    what I mean ... :
    Those who have been taught in school, from a young age, Ancient Greek in the original, or at least, wrote their essays in Katharevousa,
    that is, those who graduated from the Six-Year Gymnasium, or at least High School until 1980-85, ...
    they can UTILIZE the original text of the Seventy (which was originally 72);
    for this category, this edition is INVALUABLE.
    :
    For the rest, there is simply the SAME EXACT edition
    with ONLY the MODERN GREEK TRANSLATION of the 4 Professors (which is also available here) and you will have it in a smaller size and at about half the price.
    :
    The ORIGINAL TEXT is a TREASURE
    The "original" is NOT "ancient" Greek;
    it is incorrectly called "ancient";
    :
    in reality, the language written by at least 3 of the 4 Evangelists (from the beginning), and the Apostle Paul himself, is called:
    "Koine Hellenistic" or "Koine Alexandrian"
    and it was the spoken Greek language of the early centuries A.D. throughout the region of Judea, Palestine, Alexandria, and surrounding areas...
    the Greek language of that time was the INTERNATIONAL language for this area, DUE to the rich TRADE of the Greeks there;
    therefore, the merchants of all the surrounding states and those coming from afar used "Koine Hellenistic" for trade;
    and because, since that time, there were many Greeks in Alexandria (already from 330 B.C. from the successors of Alexander the Great), that is why the language was also called
    "Koine Alexandrian"!!
    In this language is the "Original" of the New Testament;
    it is NOT the Ancient Greek of the 5th century B.C. and earlier...
    Nor, of course, the Greek of Homer, from the 11th-8th century B.C.
    :
    for someone, therefore, who has been taught even a little Ancient Greek (in the original) in school, or at least Katharevousa,
    especially the 4 GOSPELS are easily read from the Original
    and the meanings are much richer than ANY translation!!
    HOWEVER, when the letters of Paul begin and after ...
    things get difficult ...
    :
    for that... THIS edition is a Great Aid:
    You read a verse... FIRST in the translation (on the right)
    and then, you read it in the Original;
    THIS way, the UNDERSTANDING is enriched
    :
    (PS. the "key" of course is PRAYER for Enlightenment BEFORE we start studying.)
    May we have Good Enlightenment

    Certainly, the New Testament is of a higher class than the Old and it saves the whole situation. The harsh Jehovah of the Hebrew scriptures seems to be "softened" and becomes more "peaceful" in the Christian Greek Scriptures in the person of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Jehovah. Despite the historical inaccuracies and contradictions of the evangelists in many points, it is an excellent literary work that contains a teaching of love and forgiveness that can improve the course of human history. However, this specific translation by the Bible Society (also known as the New Testament of the Four Professors) has several translation errors.
