HealthTrade spearmint essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the plant’s leaves and has a sweeter aroma than peppermint. In aromatherapy, it is used to scent a room, in massages, in the bath, and in compresses. It can be blended with lavender, orange, and sandalwood essential oils.

• Use in massage: 6 drops in 2 teaspoons of avocado or almond oil, or 20–25 drops in 50 ml of either oil
• Use in the bath: 4–8 drops mixed with milk or honey, added to bathwater for a 10–15-minute bath
• Use for room fragrance: A few drops in an essential oil burner with water and a tea light
• Use in compresses: 3–6 drops in 100 ml of warm or cold water
• Precautions: For external use only. Do not apply undiluted or allow contact with the eyes. Keep out of reach of children, in a cool place and away from direct light.
