Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity "wake us up" into the unbearably real and dark world of the Matrix. Neo's mission is to save Zion, the last free city, from an army of 250,000 deadly machines threatening to destroy it. If he fails, the human race will vanish from the face of the Earth.
