The Leather Singer Belt is an essential spare part for owners of classic, traditional sewing machines with a foot-operated mechanism (with "pedal" and wheel). It is the component that transfers motion from the reciprocating movement of the foot to the head of the sewing machine.

Despite technological advances, the leather belt remains the only solution for the legendary Singer machines that still adorn many homes.

Features

  • Length: 1.85 meters (185 cm). This length is more than enough for all standard sewing machine furniture models. The excess is cut during installation.

  • Material: 100% Natural Leather. The leather is chosen because it provides the necessary friction (grip) on the wheel, while having the appropriate elasticity to prevent slipping.

  • Thickness/Diameter: Approximately 5-6 mm, so that it fits perfectly into the groove of the wheel.

  • Connector: Includes a metal connector (hook) in a "C" or "U" shape for joining the two ends.
