The BGS Technic BGS-62646 tool set is used to detect internal engine leaks, such as leaks from piston rings, intake or exhaust valves, and the cylinder head gasket. A leaking gasket can be detected by bubbles in the cooling system.
The two gauges have protective rubber covers: the first measures the air inlet pressure downstream of the pressure regulator, and the second measures the leakage percentage of the cylinder being tested. The set is suitable for petrol engines with M12x1.25 and M14x1.25 spark plug threads and comes with a carrying case.
