We bought it because all the classic manual kitchen timers kept breaking. We didn't encounter any particular problem with setting the time. However, it could definitely be simplified. Also, sometimes you press to start the countdown but it requires a second press, and of course, you might not notice!
Το πήραμε γιατί μας χάλαγαν όλα τα κλασικά χειροκινητα χρονομετρα κουζίνας. Δεν συναντήσαμε ιδιαίτερο πρόβλημα με την ρύθμιση του χρόνο. Ωστόσο σίγουρα θα μπορουσε να απλοποιηθεί. Επίσης κάποιες φορές πατας για να ξεκινησει ο χρόνος αντίστροφα αλλα θέλει και δεύτερο πάτημα και φυσικά μπορεί να μην το προσέξεις!

I don't understand all the positive reviews!!! Personally, I got fooled! So:
The main thing a timer should do is allow you to set the time as simply as possible and count down. Something that a simple digital timer with buttons does easily.
This one gets a 0 because you can only set the time with the bezel. So, when you turn it, regardless of how slowly or quickly you turn it, it starts adding seconds, and then randomly starts adding minutes. For example, it adds 25 seconds and then starts adding minutes. If you reset and do it again, it adds, say, 45 seconds and then minutes. If, for example, you want to boil pasta and set 12 minutes (the most common thing), it will add, say, 25 seconds and then you keep turning until it sets 12 minutes, so you end up with 12 minutes and 25 seconds. Then, however, you have to wait 2 seconds to remove the extra seconds you don't need by turning the bezel. Truly ANNOYING. There isn't even a speed pattern for it to recognize seconds or minutes, e.g., if you turn quickly it's minutes, if you turn slowly it's seconds.
The designer really rocked when they made this.
As a cherry on top, it's huge! 2.7 cm thick. If you put it on the fridge (99% will put it there), it sticks out like crazy! Hope I helped... Something positive: it's modern...

Το βασικό που πρέπει να κάνει ένα χρονομετράκι είναι να του ορίζεις όσο πιο απλά γίνεται το χρόνο και να μετράει. Κάτι που κάνει εύκολα ένα απλό χρονομετράκι ψηφιακό με κουμπιά.
Σε αυτό παίρνει 0 καθώς ορίζεις το χρονο μόνο με τη στεφάνη. Γυρίζοντάς τη λοιπόν ξεκινάει ανεξάρτητα το πόσο αργά ή γρήγορα τη γυρνάς, να προσθέτει δευτερόλεπτα και μετά τυχαία ξεκινάει να προσθέτει λεπτά. Για παράδειγμα βάζει 25 δευτερα και μετά προσθέτει λεπτά. Αν μηδενίσεις και το ξανακάνεις προσθέτει πχ 45 δευτερα και μετά λεπτά. We bought it because all the classic manual kitchen timers kept breaking. We didn't encounter any particular problem with setting the time. However, it could definitely be simplified. Also, sometimes you press to start the countdown but it requires a second press, and of course, you might not notice!
Το πήραμε γιατί μας χάλαγαν όλα τα κλασικά χειροκινητα χρονομετρα κουζίνας. Δεν συναντήσαμε ιδιαίτερο πρόβλημα με την ρύθμιση του χρόνο. Ωστόσο σίγουρα θα μπορουσε να απλοποιηθεί. I don't understand all the positive reviews!!! Personally, I got fooled! So:
The main thing a timer should do is allow you to set the time as simply as possible and count down. Something that a simple digital timer with buttons does easily.
This one gets a 0 because you can only set the time with the bezel. So, when you turn it, regardless of how slowly or quickly you turn it, it starts adding seconds, and then randomly starts adding minutes. For example, it adds 25 seconds and then starts adding minutes. If you reset and do it again, it adds, say, 45 seconds and then minutes. If, for example, you want to boil pasta and set 12 minutes (the most common thing), it will add, say, 25 seconds and then you keep turning until it sets 12 minutes, so you end up with 12 minutes and 25 seconds. Then, however, you have to wait 2 seconds to remove the extra seconds you don't need by turning the bezel. Truly ANNOYING. There isn't even a speed pattern for it to recognize seconds or minutes, e.g., if you turn quickly it's minutes, if you turn slowly it's seconds.
The designer really rocked when they made this.
As a cherry on top, it's huge! 2.7 cm thick. If you put it on the fridge (99% will put it there), it sticks out like crazy! Hope I helped... Something positive: it's modern...

Το βασικό που πρέπει να κάνει ένα χρονομετράκι είναι να του ορίζεις όσο πιο απλά γίνεται το χρόνο και να μετράει. Κάτι που κάνει εύκολα ένα απλό χρονομετράκι ψηφιακό με κουμπιά.
Σε αυτό παίρνει 0 καθώς ορίζεις το χρονο μόνο με τη στεφάνη. Γυρίζοντάς τη λοιπόν ξεκινάει ανεξάρτητα το πόσο αργά ή γρήγορα τη γυρνάς, να προσθέτει δευτερόλεπτα και μετά τυχαία ξεκινάει να προσθέτει λεπτά. Για παράδειγμα βάζει 25 δευτερα και μετά προσθέτει λεπτά. Αν μηδενίσεις και το ξανακάνεις προσθέτει πχ 45 δευτερα και μετά λεπτά. Αν πχ θέλεις να βράσεις μακαρόνια και να βάλεις 12 λεπτά (ότι πιο σύνηθες) θα σου βάλει πχ 25 δευτερα και μετά συνεχίζεις να γυρνάς μέχρι να βάλει 12 λεπτά άρα έχεις 12λεπτά και 25 δευτερα. Έπειτα όμως πρέπει να περιμένεις 2 δευτερόλεπτα να αφαιρέσεις τα δευτερόλεπτα που δεν χρειάζεσαι γυρίζοντας τη στεφάνη. πραγματικά ΕΚΝΕΥΡΙΣΤΙΚΌ. δεν έχει ούτε καν καποιο μοτίβο ταχύτητας που να καταλαβαίνει τα δευτερόλεπτα ή τα λεπτά πχ αν γυρίσεις γρήγορα να είναι τα λεπτά αν γυρίσεις αργά τα δευτερόλεπτα.
Ο σχεδιαστής ρόκαρε οταν το έφτιαξε.
Για κερασάκι οτι είναι γκουμούτσα! πάχος 2,7 εκατοστά. Αν το βάλετε στο ψυγείο ( 99% εκεί θα το βάλεις) προεξέχει τρελά! Ελπίζω να βοήθησα....Κάτι θετικό: είναι μοντέρνο...
