Of all the mounts I have tried in the car, including many promising ones from sites that promised you could throw your phone in the air and it would magnetically attach, which turned out to be a disaster, this is the best one.
A bit bulky, but quite stable and with a base that does not come off by itself under any circumstances

The suction cup doesn't stick anywhere on the dashboard. On the air vent, it's short and doesn't lock securely. Peugeot 108 1.2 vti allure.

After a few months of use, the joint that allows you to adjust the position of the phone wore out and now it hangs loose, moving back and forth. Very poor construction

I ordered 2. The reason I am giving one star is because it turned out within a few days that the plastic parts that lock the position for some reason could not hold the weight of the phone (phone + case 169+69=238g total weight), resulting in them coming undone and the phone falling completely down. It does not inspire confidence in general, maybe it would be good for lighter phones overall. And I say overall because just the phone without the case seems to be held fine. Also, don't be misled by some photos showing it in the lowest position, because simply there the holder doesn't need to be stable at any other height by itself. In the end, I also had it at the lowest position just so it could do its job at least minimally.

It's a pity because otherwise it seemed like a stable base at least for the suction cup. Finally, I will say that at least it has the alternative to attach it to the grill.

The clip for the ventilation is not good, it falls off after a while, the suction cup doesn't stick to my dashboard because it is textured. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me at all. Maybe it performs better on a smooth dashboard.

For 7 months now, it has been on the dashboard of the car and it hasn't suffered ANYTHING. It neither peeled off from the sun in the summer nor did it come off from potholes and bumps, nor anything. Excellent choice so far

Nice base and value for its money. Sometimes it makes a small noise, but if you close it when you don't have the phone inside, you can't hear anything.

The only negative about the base is that it is relatively heavy and "hangs" down in the air duct.. Other than that, it is very good

edit: after 7 months of use, it doesn't hold the lock in the position it should for the phone, while the base remains stable. I think it is a very good phone mount so far in the 1.5 months of use. Stable, as long as you clean the spot where you place the base well so that it doesn't come off easily. I also put the phone with a case (Samsung a52 s and I use an armor case and it holds well)

After 30 days it almost detaches from the dashboard base no matter how you stick it, it's completely unacceptable. Don't buy it, wasted money

The product was installed in a VW UP and specifically at the bottom of the console (meaning the suction cup was not installed as shown in the product photo but upside down) since there was no available "spot" that would work due to the design of the console. Although I was worried that it wouldn't hold the weight of the phone (POCO F5), to my surprise, it is very stable. Imagine how much more stable it would be if you installed it at the top of the console. The suction cup is indeed of good quality. At the point where the phone "sits," there is a button on the back that, when pressed, opens the sides (in slow motion), you place the phone, and then tighten it by hand. It has cushioning on all 3 sides of the support base. Be careful to clean the installation area well.

Perfect, just don't let it be hit by the sun too much, there's a small chance it might come off (it happened to me once).

I would prefer, for my mental health, not to say how many cases I have changed. This is the first one that I am not afraid will slip off my phone. It is absolutely stable. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, so it can handle all the phones on the market. When (IF) it breaks, I will get the same one again.

We have: the base was placed on the car dashboard a month and a half ago. The suction cup held very firmly (more than I expected!) on a section of the dashboard and parallel to the floor. The arm consists of two parts. Let's say the first part is the one that starts from the suction cup and the second, let it be the one that ends at the base where we put the phone. At their junction there is a Philips type screw. This screw, from time to time, needs to be tightened. It loosens! Probably due to the weight of the phone. On the positive side, I will also mention that the hooks tighten well. I use the base with the phone along with its case. Thickness 11 millimeters. Width 76 millimeters.

Very good base! Quality and sturdy. It sticks even on surfaces that are not completely smooth. I have bought 2 for myself and another 2 for a colleague.

Excellent construction! I bought this because my car does not have the usual air vents that most cars have and its dashboard is not flat (sloping). It fit very easily in the spot where I wanted to have my phone and very stable

The best car base. We have used many and we are only satisfied with this one. Very stable and made of good material. Tested on rough roads!
