Coming from an iPhone 6s Plus, I had very high expectations. Extremely small, fits in every pocket, its battery is sufficient, the sound in calls is clear and strong, night photos and videos are very good. But I don't like its photos in bright light. Overexposed whites, especially on faces, here the iPhone 6s Plus was subjectively speaking, top even though it had less resolution. Personally, I am not satisfied with its screen! I can't find myself with it. I reminisce the satisfying in dimensions (even if only slightly larger but with a 16:9 aspect ratio and not the unacceptable modern 19.5:9 ratio) screen of the iPhone 6s Plus. Its wifi doesn't receive as well as the iPhone 6s Plus (which I had for 7 years and compare with). Where is the screen reversal and the fingerprint sensor? Face recognition is difficult if I wear glasses, sunglasses, a hat, a mask one by one or in combination! Maybe I'm doing something wrong somewhere. I simply think that with previous iPhones, familiarity was a given in a short time, here with the more modern ones there is an issue on my part. Nevertheless, I believe that Apple should continue to produce small-sized devices

Bought in September 2022. After 10 years as an Android user, I decided to make the switch, having been quite satisfied with my previous phones. Seeing how 'fablet' mobiles have become, I wanted something practical that wasn't big and heavy. The mini series and iPhone SE were the only options as there were minimal to no Android choices. Awesome design, incredible feel, very premium device, lightweight and of course super smooth operating system. Like any change, it will take you 1-2 months to get used to it, but then you'll be fine. The camera is very good, I'm not the type to take highly specialized photos. Now let's talk about the battery. One reason I didn't go for the 12 mini is the 1.5 hour less battery life. With the 13, you can easily get through the day with browsing, social media and a video or two. I'm not used to watching movies on my phone, so I don't have much of an issue with the screen and battery. Something to mention about the screen is that I didn't have any issues with videos, it's just the extra scrolling that bothers me a little. Generally, I think you'll still have battery issues if you get the regular iPhone, if you're constantly using it for movies and games. If you want heavy use, go for the pro max or galaxy s21, because no matter what you get, you'll need to charge it frequently. For my simple use, it easily lasts the day. There were thoughts of getting the iPhone SE due to price and touch ID, but I think it would have been a bad choice. So far, I haven't regretted the purchase for a moment. It has everything I want and more. Is the price worth it? I can't say yet because let's face it, a used iPhone 11 or 12 mini would have done the job and left me with plenty of money in my pocket. Of course, I wanted something new, I always keep my phones for quite some time and the 13 was the freshest. Unfortunately or fortunately, we all have a phone in our hands, so for me it's worth getting something that satisfies you. Don't look so much at whether any phone is worth the money, look at whether it's worth it for your needs.

Upgrading from the iPhone XS, which I was 100% satisfied with, and when I bought it, it was a really big upgrade. For the same amount of money that I bought the XS (800 euros), I can't say that I felt such a big upgrade as I did with the XS. However, I had to change it because after 3.5 years, it was time. I decided to get this one definitely because of the size, but also because I felt that I really wasn't compromising as there is nothing missing in the 13 mini. The screen won me over immediately and we're talking about really good clarity. Besides that, of course, it's very fast, the camera is very good, and I'm happy that I can now enjoy the wide angle and night mode. Otherwise, I find it perfect in design and from the first hour of use, I knew that - unfortunately or fortunately - I couldn't go back to a larger phone. It has served me well and I can't say that the smaller screen has made things difficult for me anywhere. I can read articles and watch videos comfortably. Of course, I'm not going to watch a movie or do serious gaming on my phone. Objectively, I believe that it has met any logical need I have and I can have all of that in a very convenient size.

Now, as for the battery, after about a month of use, I declare that it is simply satisfactory. I can easily get through the whole day, but only up to that point. It won't last more than 24 hours if I actually use it (phone, a little browsing, 5G when I'm out of the house, and Bluetooth for the car).

I hope that with battery wear, I won't encounter any problems. If you're a demanding user, I don't recommend it, but I don't think the average user will have a problem.

Finally, what I want to see is if it will last as long as the XS did.

PS The 4 stars are because I believe that 800 euros are a lot in general if one considers that I got the XS for that much, but objectively, it's worth it compared to the 12 mini and the SE, and given the prices of the other iPhones.

Although I'm not an Apple fan, I bought it because it's the smallest, most convenient, powerful, incredible mobile phone that has ever existed! I was looking for a small phone that could do everything a "powerful" (brick-like) phone could do, but in a size that fits in half a pocket. Now I can finally go to a café without taking my shoe out in the sun to dry haha. I always have it in my pocket and it doesn't bother me at all. You have to wear skinny jeans (rare for a man), and if there were skinny jeans for phones, maybe we would understand it on our leg haha.

Take it with your eyes closed. I bought it when it had dropped to around €580-590 in black because it's more neutral.

Personally, I don't have any battery problems because I don't use social media and generally use my mobile ONLY when I need it (because I always do my work at home - as a programmer - on my PC). Outside on the street, ONLY calls, messages, and occasionally checking my email for a minute or so. Browsing for 5-10 minutes on the road.

In summary, I open my mobile for 5 minutes a day, maybe 10 minutes at most, and it lasts me 3 days. The duration of phone calls during the day is about 20 minutes, at most 45 minutes.

This is the first time I have purchased an iPhone device, coming from a Huawei Nova 5T which I was very satisfied with. Holding the iPhone 13 mini in your hands, you realize that the quality of the materials is at a very high level. The processor is a real beast and handles the device's operation perfectly. The 4GB do not cause any problems whatsoever. The screen, photos, videos (the cinematic mode is on another level), and sound are amazing and have been analyzed below. The transition to a smaller device did not bother me at all, on the contrary, the large size had tired me out. The transfer of data from Android is relatively easy, although Viber starts from scratch (known issue). I uploaded some files to Google Drive and some applications are not available on the Apple App Store. Small downside. I had to put in an eSIM, a very easy process for 10 euros. It surprised me that when someone calls you and you have it in your hands, the volume is low, as if they are telling you, "You see the call, I'm not shouting." As for the battery, it is a fact that it may need a small charge during the day, in case you use social media, games, etc. extensively, and one before bedtime. With moderate use, it lasts until the afternoon. Perhaps the only "drawback." Of course, it charges very quickly with an 18-20W device. Overall, as a first experience, I am very satisfied with the device.

Former owner of iPhone X, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. I recently made the transition from the iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB Gold to the iPhone 13 Mini 128GB Midnight. I have to say, it's the best phone out there in terms of size. I was considering getting the 13 Pro, but since there's a 99% chance there won't be an iPhone 14 Mini, I decided to get the 13 Mini and keep it for a while. I thought the battery would be bad, since I saw it was only 2438mAh, but I decided to give it a chance and I truly believe the mAh listed are fake. The A15 processor makes this battery feel like at least 3300mAh! It's incredible how I can get my work done with just under 2500mAh without running out of battery. Starting the day with only 78% battery (not even 100%) with 5G on, location on, full brightness, exposed to the sun, listening to music with Bluetooth headphones, and 6 hours of screen time, imagine if I didn't use 5G all the time and started the day at 100%. I left the house at 10:00 am to get a screen protector and case, and arrived home at 6:30 pm with only 6% battery left (I should mention it was charged around 4:30 pm with a Magsafe Powerbank at around 10% battery).

The reason I got it is because of the size, I really love it. To keep the Mini running so well, I can only imagine how well the Pro Max would do. It's not a huge battery, but for 2438mAh, it's nothing like what you would expect. The management is so good that it makes it feel like at least 3300mAh. With heavy usage (all the time on the camera, heavy games, render editing, etc.), it won't last you the day, but with moderate to light usage, it'll definitely last. I'm very satisfied with the 13 Mini and it's definitely a phone with a future ahead of it.

First time iPhone user and long-time Android user. Coming from a Oneplus 6T, there were two main reasons for purchasing this specific iPhone: 1) Camera/video 2) size. I had one concern regarding battery life. Before I mention anything else, my usage profile is 5-7 Screen On Time per day, I do everything with my phone except for games*.

(+) Indeed, Apple justifies the selling price to a great extent. Both in terms of functionality, build quality, and in terms of video and photo quality, you immediately notice the difference. I should note here that, for example, Oneplus with oxygen OS did a very good job that has a lot to envy. However, the difference is evident in functions such as Airdrop, where it gives the ability for direct transfer of photos/videos between iPhone users.

After that, I don't have much to comment on the positives as they are somewhat known. It has very good sound, an exceptional screen (+brightness). As for the size, it is just right and weighs only 141g.

(-) On the negative side, I cannot fail to comment on Apple's glitches. For example, I cannot customize the lock screen. Due to the icons, however, the camera or flashlight is often accidentally activated. It may indeed be a detail, but in general, Apple's policy to have such a clean and simple operating system ultimately limits you.

(Battery) Pay attention to my first comment. 5-7 SOT (screen on time) and not games. I charge it to around 85%-20% and get an average of 5 hours SOT. That is, a full charge gives 6+ hours of screen time. However, the 6+ hours are in no way referring to days with continuous use of 5G and high nits brightness. It depends heavily on usage. In conclusion, due to its size, it charges very quickly. I find it a huge advantage compared to the iPhone 13.

UPDATE 08-09-22 // The 14 mini will not be released. The 13 mini was announced at $599. Logic says that prices will drop, but I am now reading that there will likely be increases in Europe. The processor of the "regular" 14 is the same as the 13 (A15 Bionic) :)

The phone is a gem, I have had it for 5 months.
- Speed. The fastest processor on the market. It is currently the fastest phone in the world along with the 13 and 13 pro. There is no reason for such speed in a phone except for longevity. No matter how heavy the apps and the operating system are, I can't see the mini "getting tired" earlier than 6 years from now. (something that may become much more significant if the rumors that Apple will stop producing mini iPhones prove to be true.)

- Size I. Ideal if you want it for mobile use. If you want it for gaming or work hours, then get a much larger one. Ideally, if your budget allows, buy the mini and an iPad. Nothing can replace this combination.

- Size II. For the few who still love the 5s and original SE. It's not the same. It may be light years ahead in terms of speed and screen, but the size will be a concern. You can't always handle it with one hand (and I have big hands) and also the lack of touch ID will bother you. Of course, the above-mentioned phones are very old and although Apple still supports the SE and it has received iOS 15, at some point they will need replacement, so the MINI is the only way to go.

Screen. It is OLED and it is flawless. I waited for summer to see the brightness at noon with sunlight and sunglasses. It has no problem.

- Camera. It is among the best cameras on the market right now. Very few devices have a better one. All within the context of a mobile phone camera. Don't have the illusion that a phone can compete with professional cameras yet. Nevertheless, the quality is much higher than the demands of any average user and it can now be used as a quick solution even for a professional who has the knowledge and time for material editing. The night mode is amazing but it requires a tripod.

- Battery. Some complain, I don't know. I find it perfect. Of course, it depends heavily on usage and the apps running in the background. I am attaching a screenshot that proves that with very little usage, it can last for 2 days. (I tried to show that the phone was not idle for 2 days, it wouldn't make sense otherwise) For those who always carry a bag, any power bank is the best purchase no matter which phone you have. You leave without worrying about being out of battery. For the mini, there is an extra reason since being the smallest on the market, it also has the smallest battery on the market (second smallest after the 12 mini).

- Design. It's not the 5s, but it is... original Apple. Not many devices can stand next to it. However, the cameras stand out quite a bit, so ideally, using a case is necessary when leaving the house.

- Price. Obviously, it is high. There are two paths with iPhones. Either you buy it once and keep it for 5+ years, so the expensive becomes cheap. Or you buy and sell every year, so with the high resale value from the 2nd year onwards, it costs you as much as a Xiaomi. However, the solution of a 3-year iPhone is often the best choice.
If someone is a Mac/ MacBook owner, then the price has a completely different impact. A windows+android user cannot understand this. The Apple ecosystem is at very high levels. For example, you can answer calls and messages from your Mac or copy (images, text, anything) to your iPhone and paste it on your Mac, as well as dozens of other combined functions.
Of course, it is a system that locks you in due to high-quality services and wonderful exclusive design that you can only find as long as you follow the Apple path. If you decide to leave Apple... things are difficult.

iPhone 13 mini 256GB/4GB (former owner of iPhone 5s, 6s, 7 Plus, 8 & 8 Plus, and XS). Objectively, it's a pocket dynamite. It's slightly smaller than the iPhone 8 in height by 4-5 millimeters and a little lighter by about 10 grams.
The camera is fantastic (a significant upgrade from the XS), both the regular (1x) and the ultra-wide (0.5x), with the former making a noticeable difference in night shots, thanks to the much lower f/s resulting in stunning photos with night mode! I don't miss the Zoom (2x) that I had on the XS and plus models at all. Both the lens and the updated camera software help you capture cinematic shots from the smallest flagship on the market in 2021.
There's a significant upgrade in the SCREEN, which is exceptionally bright even when hit by the sun. Compared to the XS screen (5.8"), I don't notice a tremendous difference in size. It's undoubtedly smaller, but as a result, the difference between 5.8 and 5.4 is almost imperceptible, and it doesn't bother me at all.
The SPEAKER is very powerful and crystal clear, with the honest bass that Apple devices have always had. However, all of this is more or less expected when we're talking about the latest and greatest from Apple in mobile phones.
What surprised me was the BATTERY. With an 80-20 charge (i.e., discharging the battery to 20% and charging it up to 80%, which means that 40% remains unused), which I always did with my devices, I would almost make it until late afternoon. Practically, in 8, at most 9 hours from 80%, I was looking for a socket. With the 13 mini and an 80-20 charge, I easily get about 14 hours with the same usage (calls, photos, quite a bit of social media, YouTube, and 2-3 hours of radio with connected AirPods). I believe that for use on a trip with a 100-0 charge, it easily lasts more than a day. It's definitely a significant upgrade in the processor and battery. Also, if you buy Apple's 20W Type C charger, the phone charges from 20% to 80% in about 25 minutes!!
As for the PROCESSOR and RAM, we don't need to say much; all iPhones have hardware capable of flying (!!) for at least 5 years, in combination with updates.
It's undoubtedly very fast and never lags like all of my previous phones from this particular company, so I don't consider it a fact.
The PRICE (speaking entirely subjectively!!!), for someone who wants a small powerhouse in their pocket, with flagship features and support with software updates for at least 5 years, plus the resale value of Apple devices, personally, I consider it impeccable.

As an iPhone, it has a high price, but in the case of iPhones, there is the possibility of reselling it to another user or even withdrawing it to an Apple store/representative. Many of my acquaintances bought an expensive iPhone for the first time and later sell it every year and buy the new model for 200 to 300 euros. In my case, I accidentally entered an official reseller store for Apple products and learned that I can withdraw my old phone. In my case, I had the iPhone SE 2020, which is not easily sold because it is a four-year-old phone with a new processor. Imagine that many stores do not even accept it to resell it. However, at the official reseller, they reduced 110 euros for my 64 GB version and I bought the 128 GB for 750 euros. For anyone who has money to spend and wants a good gadget, it is a nice choice. Compared to the iPhone SE, the battery lasts an hour and a half longer, so from almost 5 hours, you go to almost 7 hours of on-screen time. I should note that I do not use it for games, for other functions, I have nothing to say that you do not already know. It is more convenient to hold than the iPhone SE because instead of corners, it has curves on the screen and in its frame, and it is almost all screen.

Regarding the battery, do not look at how healthy it is, it is misleading. Search the internet and you will understand. However, to have a battery as healthy as possible, because even if you do not want it, the battery's performance decreases over time, but to slow down this process, you should:

- Do not charge the phone with more amperes than the manufacturer recommends.
- Do not charge it with cheap cables and third-party chargers.
- Do not let the phone shut down from the battery and charge it around 20%.
- Do not strain and heat the battery. Mobile phones, especially iPhones, are not made for games. Even laptops, after 4 years of use, the battery is exhausted, so I do everything with moderation, otherwise, in the third year, you will be looking for a power bank.

After so many years with Android (mainly Samsung), I decided to make the switch, as my previous phone was on its last legs. I have been using it for exactly 2 weeks now. I won't mention the features, specs, etc. as you can find those in YouTube videos and reviews. I will talk about the everyday experience.

I use the phone for browsing (social media, blogs, Google in general), Netflix, emails, games, Spotify, notes, home workout apps, amateur videos and photos, and I have also started using Office for work-related matters. Overall, it's amazing. Okay, it's still brand new, so whatever I had bought would have worked perfectly for the first 15 days. So, we'll see about the speed in the coming months.

I have found Siri with shortcuts extremely useful (something I used to make fun of in the past, but now I love it :P), especially while driving. It opens maps/plays any song I want on Spotify/makes calls/sends messages/tells me about traffic, weather, nearby pharmacies, etc., without me having to touch anything, all in seconds. It connects instantly and smoothly with my JBL Bluetooth speakers, JBL headphones, and car audio system.

The camera takes amazing photos and videos, and the screen resolution is great. However, I haven't explored all its capabilities yet.

In general, no matter how many apps you have open (I intentionally had around 45 open to test it), it runs smoothly. Yes, smoothly. It didn't freeze for a moment.

The screen size is perfect for almost everything. For example, I can watch Netflix episodes perfectly fine in bed at night before falling asleep. However, for work purposes, I would prefer a larger screen, but it still works well when you're on the go and need to do something urgent. But if someone wants it purely for work, it's better to go for the Pro/Pro Max/iPad. However, for everyday use, the size is ideal. It fits everywhere, finally a phone that fits in the small pocket of a woman's bag and, of course, in jeans. It's not heavy to hold.

The battery (this was the issue that concerned me based on what I had read before purchasing) is fortunately great. I always have 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Siri, and location on, and it lasts for about 1.5 days. At night, it's around 30-35%.

The Face ID for unlocking works perfectly fine so far (except with a COVID mask). The speaker is very good, and the microphone as well.

I haven't tried Apple Pay yet or the contactless payment with the phone using a debit card, so I can't give an opinion on that, and I don't think I will actually do it.

The negatives I have now are purely related to the transition from my beloved Android. I miss the notification icons of the apps on the bar, next to the time, battery, etc. I still have an issue with the silent mode/do not disturb, etc. For example, I want it completely silent at night, but I still want to hear calls and alarms. However, I haven't figured out yet how to make certain system sounds silent. In general, I have an issue with the appearance of app notifications, I'm searching for a solution, and I still haven't found a way that fully satisfies me. I hope to solve/adjust to it soon! The other negative I had was that I couldn't figure out how to set a specific ringtone as my desired ringtone. I searched a lot, found a how-to video on YouTube after endless searching, and managed to do it, but the process could have been much smoother. Lastly, this might be negligible and maybe funny for some, but let me get it off my chest... I was used to using Google Play to search and browse various apps/games from time to time, and I'm a bit annoyed by the app store and its style. But I'll get used to it.

Out of the initial 128GB model, about 100 were also available, which I think is fine for the everyday use I want it for and with photo and video storage in the cloud.

I bought a Spigen case compatible with MagSafe, but it didn't fit well on the Baseus magnetic base I already had in the car, so maybe it would have been better to spend an extra 20€ to get the original Apple MagSafe. In the end, I bought a new Baseus base with MagSafe for the car and I'm satisfied. I also bought the original Apple charger, which is not included in the package (only the cable is). Generally, I think anyone who goes for Apple knows that they will have to pay extra for these peripherals.

In general, my main negatives are that I'm still a bit clumsy with iOS, but as most people say, I'll get used to it and be fine soon. We'll see. I thought that because I've been using a MacBook Pro for the past 7 years, the transition from Android to iOS would be a piece of cake, but no!

However, the phone is wonderful in every aspect, and I am completely satisfied, even though I couldn't handle it the first two days. Now, I've started to get the hang of it! It really does everything except make coffee! I hope I answered some questions. If I find anything else in the future/if it has any issues, I will update.

UPDATE 26/12: It's been a good 2 and a half months, and it's still like the first day! Dog, it doesn't understand anything. I'm fully used to both iOS and the App Store now, so for now, I have absolutely no issues. I received AirPods 2nd gen as a gift a week ago, they connected immediately and are incredibly convenient for calls/videos/video calls. So far, everything is perfect, and the battery - which I mentioned before - easily lasts the whole day and a bit more with everything open. I haven't delved deeply into photos and videos, but from others I've seen, it does wonders.
