After 18 months of use, it broke down. The store where I bought it had closed since 2024. So the drive went to Germany for service by me as a private individual. After the RMA, UPS came at the company's expense and picked up the drive, Thursday at 17:00, and by Monday at 17:00 I had a new drive. Exactly 2 business days. I sent the MG09ACA 18TB model and received the MG10ACA 20TB. New both visually and according to SMART, but not in a sealed bag. Obviously to prevent resale.

I bought it because of its low price in April. Until today it works without failure. Personally, it annoys me that after a short while it powers down and you have to wait 2-4" (seconds) for it to "wake up", just like a 2.5" I have from the same brand. Applications freeze momentarily, such as word processors or opening new files of any kind from a file manager application.

Μετα απο 18 μηνες χρησης χαλασε. Το καταστημα αγορας ειχε κλεισει απο το 2024. Ετσι ο δισκος πηγε στην Γερμανια για service απο εμενα ως ιδιωτης. Μετα το RMA, ηρθε η UPS με εξοδα της εταιρειας και παρελαβε τον δισκο, Πεμπτη στις 17:00 και Δευτερα στις 17:00 ειχα νεο δισκο. Ακριβως 2 εργασιμες μερες. Εστειλα το μοντελο MG09ACA 18TB και παρελαβα το MG10ACA 20ΤΒ. Καινουργιο και οπτικα και μεσα απο το SMART, χωρις να ειναι σε κλειστο σακουλακι. Προφανως για να μην γινει μεταπωληση.

προσφατα απεκτησε χαλασμενα sectors που δεν επισκευαζονται. Ολες οι εφαρμογες ελεγχου SMART αναφερουν την υγεια του δισκου ως "caution" σε κιτρινο χρωμα

η αγορα του εγινε λογο της χαμηλης του τιμης που ειχε τον απριλιο. Εως σημερα λειτουργει χωρις βλαβη. Προσωπικα με εχει κουρασει που μετα απο λιγη ωρα κλεινει και περιμενεις 2-4" (δευτερ.) να "ξυπνησει", οπως και ενας 2,5" που εχω της ιδιας μαρκας. Στιγμιαια κολλανε οι εφαρμογες, οπως κειμενογραφοι ή ανοιγμα νεων αρχειων πασης φυσης απο εφαρμογη file manager.
I chose it because of the price per GB for computer backup and because it has 512MB Cache compared to the Seagate Exos which has 256. On the first day that I wrote 4TB to it, the head could be heard but it wasn't anything crazy. It is quiet during data reading. It has significantly higher sustained speeds than any commercial hard drive. It is slightly slower to start from standby (7-8'') compared to the previous one I had (WD Blue 4TB).
Τον προτίμησα λόγω τιμής ανα GB για backup Η/Υ και επειδή έχει 512MB Cache σε αντίθεση με τον Exos της Seagate που έχει 256. Την πρώτη μέρα που του έγραψα 4ΤΒ ακουγόταν η κεφαλή αλλά δεν ήταν κάτι τρελό. Σε ανάγνωση δεδομένων είναι αθόρυβος. Αρκετά μεγαλύτερες sustained ταχύτητες από οποιονδήποτε commercial σκληρό. Είναι λίγο πιο αργός στην εκκίνηση από αναμονή (7-8'') από τον προηγούμενο που είχα (WD Blue 4TB).

I have 3, all 3 drives failed within 3 years. Unfortunately, Skroutz does not recognize the 5-year warranty and did not assist me with a replacement, so I sent an RMA to Toshiba myself, where they replaced them, but I am still wary of using them.

Έχω 3, έσκασαν και οι 3 δίσκοι εντός 3ετίας. Δυστιχώς από Skroutz δεν αναγνωρίζουν την εγγύηση 5 ετών και δεν με εξυπηρέτησαν για αντικατάσταση, οπότε έστειλα μόνος μου RMA στη Toshiba, οπου και μου τους αντικατέστησαν, αλλά και πάλι τους φοβάμαι για χρήση.
This is the fifth Toshiba disk I have purchased. Completely satisfied with both its speed and reliability. Additionally, it has the lowest price compared to all other brands at 18TB. It was purchased on 27/2/2022 for €294.15 and operates 24/7. Operating temperatures are normal. ONLY TOSHIBA!!!
Είναι ο πέμπτος δίσκος της Toshiba που αγοράζω. Απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος τόσο με την ταχύτητα όσο και με την αξιοπιστία του. Επιπλέον έχει την χαμηλότερη τιμή συγκριτικά με όλες τις υπόλοιπες μάρκες στα 18ΤΒ. Αγοράστηκε στις 27/2/2022 στα 294,15€ και λειτουργεί 24/7. Οι θερμοκρασίες λειτουργίας είναι φυσιολογικές.
