    I got it to replace the dcd996 because I only used it for concrete drilling (the 996 was noisy, usually ate up the bits, heavy, etc.)

    Flawless with a slight difference in weight in hand (the distribution must play a role), the 1.4 joules are enough to drill through concrete easily.

    There are countless adapters available to use it for other functions like a combidrill.

    Note that they don't mention it, but the product does not have a chiseling function, it is only for drilling/hammer drilling!

    It is used with a powerstack 1.7Ah with excellent performance in work.
    Usage: Electrical work.

    If it had a little more power, it would be the perfect sds plus that has come out... I use it for drilling 8-10-12 holes for plumbing pipes and water drainage... My hands are rested because with the big dewalt with 3j my hands were getting tired due to the weight... Together with the 5ah battery, it weighs just over 2 kilograms...!!!! I highly recommend it, but not for holes larger than 12mm and depth greater than 15cm
