DAGONIS is a fungicide with systemic movement and long-lasting preventive and curative action, resulting from the combination of two active substances, fluxapyroxad and difenoconazole.
Fluxapyroxad is a fungicide with systemic movement and broad-spectrum and long-lasting preventive and curative action, belonging to the chemical group of succinate dehydrogenase inhibitors (SDHI), code FRAC C2.
The mode of action of fluxapyroxad at the molecular level is the inhibition of the enzyme succinate dehydrogenase (SDH), also known as complex II in the mitochondrial electron transport chain.
Difenoconazole is a fungicide with systemic movement and broad-spectrum and long-lasting preventive and curative action, belonging to the chemical group of triazoles, code FRAC G1.
Its main biochemical mode of action is the inhibition of the sterol biosynthesis process of fungi, thus stopping the growth of fungi due to the inhibition of sterol biosynthesis in their cell membranes.
