In Kali, the signal strength is not satisfactory in Windows 10 on the same machine, and I find many more networks in the area. For someone who wants it for Windows, it is fine, but for Linux, it is good for someone who wants something economical to experiment with something more advanced. It would be good to explore other solutions, but they will be considerably more expensive

It disconnects all the time for no reason. I moved my desk a little further from where it was and it barely gets any signal. I do not recommend this piece of junk to anyone.

I connected it and immediately within seconds, Windows 10 recognized it and found all the WiFi networks around. It hasn't disconnected on me in the month that I've had it, and the internet runs very smoothly.

Very good, it has excellent range, over 90+ % from the modem router that is 10 meters away from where I have connected it, it reaches exactly the same speed on the speedtest as the wired connection.
Download the latest drivers from the tp-link website for better synchronization and fewer bugs, etc.
Lately, it disconnected 1-2 times due to a major Windows update, but I installed the latest version of the drivers and everything is going smoothly.

Guys, for the little money this wireless modem rocks! I got it for my job and we've used it with 30 people and it doesn't even notice... it's a beast! Don't be afraid of it. It definitely can't compete with expensive ones, but you get what you pay for. So far, it has served us well. While it has good range and doesn't disconnect, sometimes the drivers freeze and you need to unplug the USB cable, but that happens rarely!

If you want to connect your PC to WiFi from a satellite distance, you will not be satisfied. For a distance of 3-4 meters with 2-3 walls in between, you will be fine and it will give you the maximum speed of your router.

For the disconnections that anyone may experience, they may be due to interference from the same channel frequency of other routers. You change the channel and you're good to go.

There is no better one. I have had it for 4 years and I am receiving from the TP-LINK W8961ND router located on the 3rd floor of my apartment building on the ground floor store, on my Toshiba Satellite P100 laptop with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, FULL 300 Mbps!!! I highly recommend it

After a tragic USB wireless stick from TurboX (like the other three products of the company that I have tried), which had constant disconnections and problematic connection, I have been using the TP-Link TL-WN822N for 2 months now.
It is excellent in connection (+15-20% speed compared to the previous one), it has not disconnected once, stable in signal maintenance, and with an excellent monitoring tool. Highly recommended!

Negatives: I have not found any.
