I give 4 stars because nothing is perfect. The only thing that annoyed me about these JBLs and all JBLs that connect in stereo mode is that the way to connect them via the app is somewhat complicated, but after 9 months I learned how to connect them in stereo. I bought two speakers in the summer of 2025 exclusively to play them in stereo because I really don't like mono sound at all. It's sacrilege to listen to music from a mono speaker. The stereo connection of two speakers of the same model, regardless of the color of the speaker, is only possible through the JBL Portable app. You turn on both speakers and pair them the first time you buy them. Then you send music to one of the two speakers for at least 20 seconds. After the 20 seconds of listening to music from one speaker, you open the JBL Portable app and wait for the app to recognize the speaker playing the music. Once the app recognizes the speaker playing the music, it will show you an option for stereo connection and then you select the stereo connection and simultaneously press the infinity button, which means party/stereo, and wait to see the image of the stereo connection, which I will upload here as a screenshot. Sometimes the stereo disconnects and you have to press the two infinity buttons again to restore the stereo connection, and that's the only negative, but I get over it, and at this point, you'll struggle until you learn it, but you do learn. Most people will probably struggle until they learn how to connect them in stereo, but I managed it suddenly one day and now I connect them immediately. Almost all portable Bluetooth speakers on the market, except for Marshall, which I think are almost all stereo, all the rest are mono, meaning they have one speaker for bass and mid frequencies and one tweeter for high frequencies, which means you lose half the listening experience. Whoever doesn't care about always listening to stereo sound buys just one speaker and listens like that, but I love listening to music as it should be, and if I have only one speaker, I don't listen at all. Generally, it's a speaker you can listen to for about twelve hours at less than half volume. I listen at 20 to 30 percent and it covers small spaces. You should know that the bass of a speaker depends on its size, so don't expect the place to shake, but it fills the space gently and nicely. I only use them at work because at home I listen with Monitor Audio MR6. Their sound is nice and you hear all the sounds as much as possible and you hear them clearly without over-coloration or poor quality. Even though connecting them in stereo was difficult for me, I learned to connect them on the first try. Would I buy them again? Yes, probably, unless I wanted to try another brand in the future, and only two speakers, and only if they connect in stereo.

Clearly better than having a phone or laptop playing on the balcony. I bought it while series 7 had already been out for a few months because I trusted the good reviews, which were right: very good sound quality and very good volume if you are close, with bass you can feel. Meanwhile, even if it’s loud, it might not sound close by, but the sound travels very far in balcony, veranda, and beach environments. Connectivity with iPhone & Android is very easy. There is also an app in the store which is very poor; I wish it had more premade equalizers based on the type of music you play. Party boost is a big question mark because we didn’t have a second JBL, but it’s an interesting prospect. I wish it had Spotify connect so it could isolate the app itself and when you get a call the speaker wouldn’t ring, though if you answer it switches to the phone. Battery autonomy is initially incredible; at full volume and with the equalizer all the way up it lasted a clear 4 hours, in a lower volume environment it really lasts about 12 hours. And it probably doesn’t have many mA capacity, it charges while playing directly from a power bank. I didn’t check the waterproof IP67 part, but every time we left it in the sand nothing happened to it, tough as a dog... um... red. It accompanied me worthily on my vacation, it’s a purchase for 2 weeks a year and if it lasts 5 summers it’s perfect for an outdoor entertainment investment.

The first one was a gift, black color. I was impressed by the clear sound both indoors and outdoors. I listen to jazz and classical music. I downloaded the app and saw that with a second, identical model, you get stereo sound, so buying a second, Martin Garrix, was a no-brainer. At 1.5 to 2 meters and upright with the woofer below and the tweeter above, I have a very good stereo "image." Nice performance on pieces with piano, strings, wind instruments, and vocals. At a greater distance, 4-5 meters and with more volume, they are also impressive.
Enjoyment on the veranda with heavy rain sitting under the awning and listening to music, with these getting wet. After the rain, they need good drying to charge, as the moisture needs to leave the USB-C connection.
I recommend them.

Note: The check for whether they deliver STEREO or not was done with: "Chesky Records Jazz Sampler - Audiophile Test Compact Disc Volume 1" and "Best of Chesky Jazz - More Audiophile Tests, Vol. 2", which I have had for decades.
If the source is stereo, you hear stereo, and depending on the distance and angle to the listening position, the stereo image grows or shrinks. If you achieve it, the speakers "disappear."

There are times when even tech freaks simply fall in love with a product even though they know it’s not perfect.
I have had over 20 Bluetooth speakers in my hands and I currently have about 10.
I have more expensive and better ones... (Soundcore Motion+, Anker SoundCore Boost) but in the end, this one (the Flip 6) is the one I take with me because I just like it.

I like its size and design - especially the placement of the buttons as well as the fact that they are prominently raised and you can feel what you’re pressing blindly, without looking at it. In terms of sound, it’s quite decent and it also allows adjustments through the app in its equalizer. It doesn’t need much explanation, it’s not even stereo... to have a stereo image (Left & Right) it tells you to get two and pair them... so one must know beforehand that it’s not meant for the HI FI experience. However, this doesn’t mean that someone can’t enjoy listening to it... that’s why I consider it 5 stars. The battery life is also great.

Regarding sound:
For me, the Soundcore Motion+ is two levels above, both in quality and volume, but it’s significantly bulkier (first of all, it’s truly stereo). If I wanted it for a stationary speaker (even though these speakers are portable), the Motion+ is a more complete product.
Close in sound quality for me is the Sony SRS-XB10 but it doesn’t have the volume to listen, for example, outdoors.

Just a warning! It fell in the shower from a height of about 1 meter and broke from the fall... (I got a second one the same)... Don’t think that because it’s waterproof it can withstand abuse...
