    Just fine for its price, if someone follows the instructions and depending on the recipe, it produces a very satisfactory amount of ice cream. The bowl definitely needs to be cooled for 24 hours and the mixture must be very cold. If I want to make the maximum amount (mixture around 1.6 liters because it aerates), I also put it in the freezer when it's very hot to get the job done. It requires these preparations, but in my opinion, they are worth the effort for pure and economical ice cream at home.
    P.S. I had a similar one in price and size, and when the mechanism broke, I kept the cooling bowl, which happened to be the same as HKoenig's, so I can make two batches in one day or leave one as a backup in the freezer for the next batch without the 24-hour wait.
