An accumulator tank is an important part of any pressurized water system that includes a pressure-controlled pump. Installed near the outlet of the pressurized water pump, the accumulator tank acts as a pressure regulator, ensuring a smooth water flow.

Without an accumulator tank, the pump may turn on and off rapidly whenever the flow rate exceeds the demand from the electrical installation. Continuous switching on and off leads to increased wear on the pump and unnecessary battery drain.
