  • update after 3.5 years, extreme monitor, it has fallen off my desk and nothing happened, the pixels burned out and with a cleaning everything was fixed, the panel is still clean even after so much movement and mishandling, it turned out to be very good, for colors and everything else it is perfect, is it worth the money in 2026? maybe 50 euros less, I have no complaints

    Verified purchase

I ended up with this specific monitor after a lot of research and I am completely satisfied with my choice. I wanted it for playing on the Xbox Series X, mainly FPS games at 120 FPS.

    Positives:
    - 1 ms Response Time
    - 165 Hz and Freesync Premium
    - VRR support on Xbox Series X
    - 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and 1 DisplayPort
    - Very nice color reproduction
    - Very user-friendly menu to find the ideal settings
    - Adjustable height and angle of the screen
    - Built-in speakers (Bonus)

    Negatives:
    - Unfortunately, the monitor is not QHD but FullHD. At 27 inches, QHD would have provided something extra in terms of resolution and graphic details.
    - The HDR it offers can be considered borderline HDR. With a brightness peak of 400 cd/m², it can't exactly be called HDR (BenQ refers to it as HDRi). However, the brightness of the screen is more than satisfactory, it just can't be measured as HDR.

Overall, I consider the price of around €250 for a 27-inch monitor with these specific features to be very good. If you can sacrifice the QHD resolution and save €100-€200, then this monitor will definitely not disappoint you.
