We installed Grohe faucets because we have hard water in the area (lots of minerals) and we decided to prefer something quality. Just 2 years later, they have all broken (they drip and the mechanisms have tightened). The bathtub faucet broke first and immediately after that, the kitchen one. An expensive repair was done on the mechanism (robot) of the faucet installed in the bathtub and after 2 months, it drips again. I got frustrated and changed the faucet myself with a simple Italian one, not a mixer, one of those with two knobs, the classic ones, and I was saved. Mixer faucets are ultimately wasted money. I'm saying this so that no one has to go through what I went through. A thousand times the classics. Now I will have to throw out the kitchen one too. From what I see, I will also put a classic one there and not a mixer.

From the quality of construction, it seems sturdy. There is almost no flow noise. The sockets are relatively large for the knees included in the package; I used the old ones. A downside is that it is made in Thailand. It is also a bit stiff to use, but maybe that's how its function is.

The valve is completely straight and smooth, and with wet hands it slips and you can't lift it to let the water run from the showerhead. Is a brand like Grohe allowed to make such mistakes? I regret buying it.

I believe it is a very high-quality construction; of course, time will tell.

Bought 8 months ago, with mild use I haven't encountered any problems. It works correctly. If you choose to buy the accompanying spiral and telephone from the same company, you will pay some extra money, but they are worth it due to their reliability. Possibly the best branded choice for this price.
