The BauEdge faucet by Grohe is mounted on the wall above the bathtub. The water outlet can be either from the spout that fills the bathtub or through the shower. For optimal use, it should ideally be installed at a height of 90 centimeters above the bathtub.

    We installed Grohe faucets because we have hard water in the area (lots of minerals) and we decided to prefer something quality. Just 2 years later, they have all broken (they drip and the mechanisms have tightened). The bathtub faucet broke first and immediately after that, the kitchen one. An expensive repair was done on the mechanism (robot) of the faucet installed in the bathtub and after 2 months, it drips again. I got frustrated and changed the faucet myself with a simple Italian one, not a mixer, one of those with two knobs, the classic ones, and I was saved. Mixer faucets are ultimately wasted money. I'm saying this so that no one has to go through what I went through. A thousand times the classics. Now I will have to throw out the kitchen one too. From what I see, I will also put a classic one there and not a mixer.

    From the quality of construction, it seems sturdy. There is almost no flow noise. The sockets are relatively large for the knees included in the package; I used the old ones. A downside is that it is made in Thailand. It is also a bit stiff to use, but maybe that's how its function is.
