KAFO BRACE Thigh-Calf-Foot Orthosis 1R Range Mechanism. It consists of two sections (thigh-calf) that are easily adjustable. Made of "ACTiV Distance" foam material, soft, sweat-resistant, and hypoallergenic. The two metal bars with the polycentric 1R mechanism attach with velcro straps.

The polycentric 1R mechanism is an innovative solution for adjusting the range of motion of knee flexion and extension. The diameter of the mechanism is very small (30mm) and is adjustable in 15° intervals in the following selectable positions:

• Flexion: from 0° to 135°
• Extension: from 0° to 120°
• Hyperextension: -15°

Additionally, proper brace fitting is achieved with a magnetic pin. Its unique safety design allows for precise adjustment of the angle of the polycentric mechanism. Two inner pads protect the condyles. The six foam adhesive and non-elastic fastening straps (three on the thigh and three on the calf section) stabilize the brace in the correct position.

The brace features a carbon fiber internal ankle orthosis that telescopically fits into selectable positions. It supports the foot in a neutral position due to foot drop. It allows controlled gradual increase of the knee joint's range of motion. The fitting is easy, even in patients with a large disparity between thigh and calf.

• Prevention and treatment of knee and ankle joint due to paresis or degenerative changes
• Immobilization during rehabilitation after knee injuries
• In cases of patients with foot drop or whole lower limb paresis
• Hemiplegia
• Complete or partial quadriceps weakness
• Knee hyperextension
• Walking training in patients with neurological or orthopedic problems
