They trap the Mediterranean fly, olive fruit fly, thrips, whiteflies, aphids, leaf miners, flower thrips, warehouse insects, grapevine moth, Ephestia elutella, mosquitoes, eggs and larvae (caterpillars) of Lepidoptera, larvae, flies, Pieris, vegetable moths, wasps, leaf rollers, psyllids.
They are also used with good results against cherry fruit fly (Rhagoletis).
Non-toxic – without poisons.
These traps can be used as an indicator of insect population in crops.
Hang the traps every 2-2.5 meters, depending on the size of the plants.
