I am very satisfied with my choice, the gold color is in a very nice matte shade, it has a thick diameter and generally does not bend. The only negative is that due to the matte finish, it does not avoid scratches and marks, etc. From a distance, it looks like a very expensive curtain rod though, I highly recommend it.
