The mpc studio 2 is a midi controler specially designed for the mpc 2 software and has capabilities and functions that the mpk mini does not have even though it has pads, for example 16 notes, pad mutes and others that help a lot in work flow and creativity and completion of a piece. A good and economical and complete solution is the mpk 249 which has all the functions of the mpc 2 studio and the mpk mini plus except for the touch band (mpc studio 2) but it is a bit old but effective and with large keys.
