  • I have had the MPC Studio II for a year now and I have to say that it is the best choice for someone who wants to start creating music. It gives you the MPC Software along with a variety of Expansion Packs and VSTs and you can create many types of music or you can play ready-made beats from Akai to practice and have a good time...

  • Very good (I'm coming from nothing), it also has software that comes for free, but it has a suite with software that requires more money. If it was open with its software, 5/5. A little searching on what runs before on their site. Otherwise, vfm, good quality + beautiful.

First of all, it comes with the mpc 2 software which is worth from 100 to 200 euros depending on whether it has a discount and as a daw you can easily produce music and get familiar with the world of akai mpc in general it has continuous updates and pluggins and expansions I believe it is perfect to start producing music and in combination with an mpk mini plus or mpk mini mk3 or other midi keyboards with larger keys for example, you will have a complete midi controler midi keyboard and daw system with little money and quite capable! It requires at least an i5 win10 8gb or equivalent operating system! The mpc studio 2 is a midi controler specially designed for the mpc 2 software and has capabilities and functions that the mpk mini does not have even though it has pads, for example 16 notes, pad mutes and others that help a lot in work flow and creativity and completion of a piece. A good and economical and complete solution is the mpk 249 which has all the functions of the mpc 2 studio and the mpk mini plus except for the touch band (mpc studio 2) but it is a bit old but effective and with large keys. However, they are very good tools and the pads of the mpc 2 studio are superior to those of the mpk mini series! Look for bundles and discounts which are very large in the music production industry e.g. black Friday winter sales summer sales!
