The Petoneer Smart Odor Eliminator Pro object sterilizer neutralizes odors and sterilizes using ozone and negative ions. It operates in a 360° radius and in spaces of approximately 0.125 m³. Its infrared sensor temporarily stops operation when it detects a pet and restarts one minute after the pet has moved away.

The device operates intermittently: it activates every 15 seconds and runs for 15 seconds. It connects via Bluetooth to the Petoneer app, which displays information such as battery level and the approximate frequency of litter box use. The built-in battery lasts up to 4–7 days and charges via USB-C.
