Organic Demerara Sugar

Demerara sugar is a natural unrefined dark sugar from sugarcane with large crystals. Its production is simple, without chemicals or additives. The sugarcane mass is pressed and steam is applied to produce sugar syrup which is dehydrated, crystallizing the sugar and preserving its natural aroma as well as its nutrients, such as calcium, phosphorus, and iron salts.

Demerara sugar provides fewer calories compared to white crystalline sugar and is ideal for hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and chocolate, thanks to its distinct taste and aroma characteristics.
