The Dako-Faka trap attracts the olive fruit fly with food attractants, moisture and its outer color, while its surface is impregnated with deltamethrin. The insect comes into contact with the insecticidal surface and dies a few minutes later. The trap is ready to hang and is intended primarily for controlling the olive fruit fly.
Before hanging, make holes at the two points marked X. Place the trap inside the tree canopy, approximately halfway up the tree, in a shaded spot where it does not touch leaves or branches and is not exposed to direct sunlight. For areas smaller than 3 stremmas, one trap per tree is recommended. Use the product according to the label instructions and the precautions for plant protection products.
