Hellafarm Admiral 10 EC is a professional liquid insecticide and growth regulator for controlling whiteflies. It mimics the juvenile hormone in insects and affects their morphogenesis, reproduction and embryogenesis, depending on their stage of development. It acts gradually, and its active ingredient, pyriproxyfen, moves through plant tissues.
In eggs aged 1–3 days, it limits or delays hatching, while inhibiting larval metamorphosis and preventing pupal moulting and adult emergence. It also sterilises females, reducing egg laying and egg viability. It is applied as a foliar spray to crops including citrus, apple, pear, stone fruit, grapevine, strawberry, olive, tomato, eggplant, courgette, cucumber and ornamentals.
