The Alfred Basic Piano Library offers nine consecutive beginner series aimed at preparing students of all ages for a successful music learning experience. With the exception of the Basic Adult Piano Course, which is complete on its own, all beginner series can be interchanged at various levels and lead to the Alfred Basic Series, which is completed at level 6 (a total of 7 levels). 

Therefore, this series is the most flexible of any method, allowing the teacher to personally design a special program according to the age and needs of each student. Upon completion, the student is ready to start playing the great piano masterpieces.
