BioGaia Prodentis probiotic lozenges are a natural, safe, and easy way to restore and maintain a healthy microbial balance in the oral cavity, reduce the chances of tooth decay, prevent or treat gingivitis, and generally reduce or treat soft tissue inflammations that are responsible for a multitude of oral health problems.

Apple flavor

Dosage

For children over 4 years old and adults: ideally should be taken after brushing. If using an antiseptic mouthwash, take BioGaia Prodentis ½ hour after a mild antiseptic and 1 hour after a strong one.

4-6 years old (Cavity Prevention): 2 lozenges daily for 1 month.
6-12 years old (Cavity Prevention): 1 lozenge daily for 1 month.
12-17 years old (Early Cavity Treatment): 2 lozenges daily for 3 months.

From 18 years old and above:
Gingivitis / Pregnancy Gingivitis Prevention: 1 lozenge daily.
Peri-implant Mucositis Prevention: 1 lozenge daily before the implant.
Gingivitis Treatment: 1 lozenge daily.
Pregnancy Gingivitis Treatment: 1 lozenge daily for 4-7 weeks.
Periodontitis Treatment: 2 lozenges daily for 3 months (after completing antibiotic/antiseptic treatment).
Peri-implant Mucositis / Peri-implantitis Treatment: 2 lozenges daily for at least 1 month (after completing antibiotic/antiseptic treatment).
Fungal Infection Treatment: 2 lozenges daily.
Halitosis Treatment: 1 lozenge daily.
