Description

“You were searching for your other half while you were missing yourself completely.” The award-winning author of the play "Miss Misery," recipient of the ‘K. Koun 2018’ prize, surprises with his poetry collection, “Unknown The Violence of Life” (Poems 2011-2021), published by Kapa Publishing.

Stepping away from the literary categories in which he was previously classified (theater, narrative), he presents a genuine poetic work that he has been developing over the last ten years. The poetry collection “Unknown The Violence of Life” is a record of the violent coming-of-age of the human being and, at the same time, the chronicle of the wandering of the tormented Self in a pre-fabricated World.

The coexistence of epigrammatic fragments and existential poetic chronicles, which complement and simultaneously oppose each other into a "whole," introduces us to a universe that is terrifyingly familiar yet disarmingly unpredictable at the same time.

From the title itself, "Unknown The Violence of Life," the key-persona is presented, the Unknown, as the anonymous co-author, who is none other than the reader. This negation of the authorial identity as we know it detonates from the start the familiar concept of authorship, abolishing belonging.

Introducing us to a grand cosmos beyond time and space, to walk alongside the Other, as "another self." Sometimes identifying and sometimes differentiating, through an endless painful journey toward the real. “This z in life is always buzzing. It does not respect our dead silence.”
