The brush came in a cardboard box with an opening from the front and yet it smelled bad. I tried washing it with shower gel, dish soap, white vinegar, dishwashing liquid, alcohol, and anything else I found on the internet, but the smell wouldn't go away. In the end, I managed to make it not smell by leaving it in alcohol for 5 days and another 10 in clean air.
I changed my initial review because I received another brush as a gift with natural bristles from a well-known, more expensive brand, and it smelled even worse!!
In the end, I believe the smell is inevitable in all brushes with natural bristles, so I hope the technique with alcohol and air helps someone else!
Η βούρτσα ήρθε σε ένα χαρτονένιο κουτάκι με άνοιγμα από μπροστά και παρόλα αυτά μύριζε άσχημα. Δοκίμασα να την πλύνω με αφρόλουτρο, με απορρυπαντικό πιάτων, με λευκό ξύδι, με υγροσάπουνο, με οινόπνευμα, και ο,τι άλλο βρήκα στο internet αλλά η μυρωδιά δεν έφευγε. Εν τέλει κατάφερα να την κάνω να μη μυρίζει αφήνοντάς την 5 μέρες σε οινόπνευμα και άλλες 10 στον καθαρό αέρα.
Άλλαξα το αρχικό review επειδή μου έφεραν δώρο μια άλλη με φυσική τρίχα από γνωστή πιο ακριβή μάρκα και μύριζε ακόμη χειρότερα!!
Εν τέλει πιστεύω η μυρωδιά είναι αναπόφευκτη σε όλες τις βούρτσες με φυσική τρίχα οπότε ελπίζω η τεχνική με το οινόπνευμα και τον αέρα να βοηθήσει κανέναν άλλο!
