The Filtrato WHF14D water filter system is installed under the kitchen counter and connects to the cold water supply via a tee, with a separate faucet on the countertop. The dual filtration system includes a 5 μm polypropylene filter in the first stage and a PURE CTOP 2510-05 5 μm coconut shell carbon block filter in the second. The carbon filter helps reduce chlorine, odor and chlorine by-products, while improving the taste of the water.

The filter housing has a plastic body and brass inlet and outlet connections with a 1/4'' diameter. It accepts 10'' filter cartridges, which are easy to replace. The replacement carbon filter has a hydrophilic treatment and does not release carbon dust.
