Description

The Moya Matcha Traditional is cultivated in the Uji area of Kyoto Prefecture, known for producing high-quality green tea for over 800 years. The Uji region is famous for its fertile soils and pure water. The green tea plants have ideal growing conditions thanks to the hills that provide good sunlight, frequent mists that protect the delicate leaves from frost, and high rainfall.

Moya Matcha is meticulously grown and harvested in small family-owned organic tea farms. It is then processed locally in Japan and shipped in small batches to ensure maximum freshness for all our products. This helps preserve all the properties of the tea leaf and maintain high levels of minerals.

If you drink matcha for its valuable catechins (e.g., in a juice), then it is a good value for money purchase.

If you want the taste experience (ceremony) as is in hot water, there are sweeter and better quality options, but also much more expensive (mainly abroad).

edit: For some reason, the price skyrocketed and the proper value for money was lost.
