After 100+ hours of testing, I am sharing my opinions to help potential buyers in the Bookshelf Speakers category.
The speakers are 3-way with a coaxial tweeter and midrange, and they also have a 6.5" Bass Aluminium Driver. The build quality is very good, and they have a depth of 33cm. They have a very full sound and play without distortion at high volumes. Their bass is rich and full (starting from 41 Hz, which is one of the lowest in the category), and the highs do not cause any auditory fatigue. The midrange and soundstage are exceptional.
To fully utilize their capabilities, they definitely require a powerful amplifier and possibly bi-amplification/bi-wiring, which they support.
To reach this conclusion, I compared them to the following:
1. Q Acoustics 3030i
2. Klipsch RP-600 M
3. Triangle Borea BR03
4. KEF Q350
5. Elac UBR62
6. Wharfedale (I don't remember exactly)
The reason I chose them over the others is that they were the most comfortable to my ears, with neutrality and without excessive emphasis on the highs like I encountered with the Triangle Borea and Klipsch, which fatigued me after a while at high volumes.
Additionally, the Q Acoustics seemed to have more coloration with pronounced vocals, although they were not bothersome, just like the Wharfedale, which had exceptional bass.
I liked the Q350 as well, as they had some of the best bass and overall sound, but their construction did not convince me. Compared to the UBR62, a 2-way speaker, I preferred them because they provided more solid midrange frequencies due to their 3-way design.
Overall, since sound is subjective, I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing them to listen to them firsthand. However, whoever chooses them will definitely be satisfied.
Μετά από 100+ ώρες στρωσίματος παραθέτω τις απόψεις μου για να βοηθήσω τυχόν μελλοντικούς αγοραστές στην κατηγορία των BookShelf Speakers.
Τα ηχεία είναι 3 δρόμων με το tweeter να είναι ομόκεντρο με το midrange, ενώ επιπλέον έχουνε ένα Bass Aluminium Driver 6,5". Η κατασκευή τους είναι πολύ ποιοτική ενώ έχουνε και πολυ μεγάλο βάθος 33cm. Έχουνε πολύ γεμάτο ήχο και παίζουνε χωρίς παραμορφώσεις σε πολύ μεγάλες εντάσεις. Το μπάσο τους είναι μεστό με πληρότητα (βάσει specs ξεκινάει από τα 41 Hz που είναι από τα χαμηλότερα στην κατηγορία) και οι ψηλές τους δε σου δημιουργούν το αίσθημα της ηχητικής κόπωσης. To μεσαίο φάσμα τους και το soundstage είναι εξαιρετικό.
Για να παίξουνε στο Full των δυνατοτήτων τους χρειάζονται σίγουρα ένα πολύ δυνατό ενισχυτή και ίσως και bi-amplification / bi-wiring το οποία υποστηρίζουνε.
Για να καταλήξω σε αυτά έκανα ακρόαση των παρακάτω:
1.Q Accoustics 3030i
2.Klipsch RP-600 M
3.Triangle Borea BR03
4.KEF Q350
5.Elac UBR62
6.Wharfedale (δε θυμάμαι ποιο ακριβώς)
Ο λόγος που τα επέλεξα έναντι των παραπάνω είναι γιατί ήταν τα περισσότερο ξεκούραστα στο αυτί μου με ουδετερότητα χωρίς να υπάρχει υπερτονισμός των ψηλών όπως συνάντησα στα Triangle Borea και τα Klipsch τα οποία μετά από λίγο σε υψηλή ένταση στην ακρόαση με κούρασαν.
Επίσης τα Q Accoustics μου φάνηκαν ότι έδιναν παραπάνω ηχοχρωμα με πολύ τονισμένα φωνητικά, χωρίς να είναι όμως ενοχλητικά, όπως και τα Wharfedale αν και είχαν εξαιρετικό μπάσο και τα 2.
Tα Q350 μου άρεσαν και είχανε από τα καλύτερα μπάσα και ωραίο ήχο συνολικά, αλλά η κατασκευή τους δε σε έπειθε. Έναντι των UBR62, 2 way, τα προτίμησα γιατί μου έδιναν πιο μεστές μεσαίες συχνότητες λόγω των 3 δρομών.
Γενικότερα επειδή το θέμα ήχου είναι υποκειμενικό θα προέτρεπα όποιον θέλει να τα αγοράσει να προχωρήσει σε ακροάσεις. Παρόλα αυτά όποιος τα επιλέξει θα τον δικαιώσουν σίγουρα.
