    It reduces humidity like all dehumidifiers, but it is not silent. It makes a ringing noise, for which I sent it to service twice, where they told me it was normal. The 37 db does not apply in any case. Two of my sound meters show 60-65 db. The second time the technician blamed me for the noise (which he didn't find before but found now) because the HEPA filter was clogged and he sent me a new one for 16 euros. The noise, a metallic ringing, continues. We who have it in the room cannot sleep. I will not deal with the company of Amiriadis - Savvidis again.

    Update: They finally contacted me and sent me a new dehumidifier, a different model, the 12160hiw. It does not make the noise that the other one did, it is quite good and I recommend it, just know that the fan has only one speed and it does not decrease even in sleep mode.

    Good machine does what it promises AS LONG AS it is placed in the right space and let me explain. Just like a 9,000 BTU air conditioner cannot cool a 40 sqm room, neither can a small 12-liter dehumidifier. Roughly calculate double in square meters. Keep this in mind and happy shopping

    It reduces humidity like all dehumidifiers, but it is not silent. It makes a ringing noise, for which I sent it to service twice, where they told me it was normal. The 37 db does not apply in any case. Two of my sound meters show 60-65 db. The second time the technician blamed me for the noise (which he didn't find before but found now) because the HEPA filter was clogged and he sent me a new one for 16 euros. The noise, a metallic ringing, continues. We who have it in the room cannot sleep. I will not deal with the company of Amiriadis - Savvidis again.

    Update: They finally contacted me and sent me a new dehumidifier, a different model, the 12160hiw. It does not make the noise that the other one did, it is quite good and I recommend it, just know that the fan has only one speed and it does not decrease even in sleep mode.

    Good machine does what it promises AS LONG AS it is placed in the right space and let me explain. Just like a 9,000 BTU air conditioner cannot cool a 40 sqm room, neither can a small 12-liter dehumidifier. Roughly calculate double in square meters. Keep this in mind and happy shopping
