In the summer it is hot and I do not recommend anyone to wear it because they will sweat. I don't mind sweating. It has saved me during long hours of outdoor work. Some people sew a cloth on the back of the hat for neck sun protection. I wear a neck scarf and my neck doesn't peel from the sun. I don't recommend others use it the way I do, but it has saved me!
