MARISEAL 255

MARISEAL 255 is a single-component, liquid-applied polyurethane membrane with high and permanent elasticity, cold-applied and cold-polymerized, which is used for long-term waterproofing.

It polymerizes through reaction with soil and air moisture.

Characteristics:

• Simple application (roll or airless spray)
• Forms a seamless, monolithic membrane without joints upon application
• Water resistant
• Frost resistant
• Crack-bridging properties
• Provides water vapor permeability
• Excellent thermal resistance, never softens
• Seals old bituminous felts without removal
• Maintains mechanical properties at a temperature range of -30°C to +90°C
• Resistant to detergents, oils, and domestic chemical products
• Easy local repair even in case of mechanical damage

Uses:

• Waterproofing of roofs
• Terraces, flat roofs, and balconies
• Old bituminous felts and other membranes
• Protection of polyurethane foam insulation

Requires covering with a suitable topcoat when applied on exposed surfaces.

Consumption:

• 1.2-2.0 kg/m2 applied in two or three layers.
