The 6000CDT is a classic CD transport that incorporates the same slot-loading mechanism as audiolab's flagship CD player, the 8300CD. Extremely robust and reliable, it uses a digital read-ahead buffer to reduce disc reading failures, capable of playing scratched and damaged CDs that are unreadable by conventional mechanisms.

The master clock is controlled by a temperature-compensated crystal, allowing the digital output from both the coaxial and optical sockets to exhibit extremely low levels of jitter.

The CD transport is housed in its own electromagnetically shielded chassis, and with its own dedicated power supply, the extraction of digital signal from any CD is as precise as possible.
