Description

The Arturia MiniFuse 1 White is the ideal portable audio interface for musicians, podcasters, and content creators seeking professional studio quality in a compact size.

With a dynamic range of 110dB and ultra-low noise, it guarantees crystal-clear recordings for vocals and instruments. It features USB-C connectivity, a built-in USB Hub for your peripherals, and comes with a powerful software bundle including Ableton Live Lite and Analog Lab, offering all the tools you need for instant creation from the very first moment.

Top Sound Quality and Dynamic Range

The MiniFuse 1 comes from Arturia's award-winning AudioFuse series, ensuring professional specifications for every recording. It features an impressive dynamic range of 110dB and an equivalent input noise of -129dB, characteristics that place it at the top of its category. This means that every take, from the most delicate vocals to the most intense guitar, is delivered with rich dynamics, absolute clarity, and studio quality without unwanted noise.

Flexible Combo Input and 48V Control

The card features a Combo XLR / 1/4" input, allowing you to easily connect either a microphone or an instrument. The built-in Phantom Power 48V switch makes it compatible with high-performance condenser microphones, while the instrument level switch ensures a stable signal regardless of the source. The smart illuminated controls provide instant visual feedback, lighting up when connected and turning red to warn of any signal clipping.

Portability and Bus-Powered Operation

Designed for the modern creator, the MiniFuse 1 is fully Bus-powered, which means it is powered directly from your computer's USB port without the need for an external power supply. The USB-C connection guarantees speed and stability, making the card the ideal solution for recording outside the studio. It is compatible with Class-compliant standards, allowing instant operation (plug-and-play) on Windows and Mac without complicated installation procedures.

Built-in USB Hub for Peripherals

A unique innovation of the MiniFuse 1 is the built-in USB-A Hub port on the back of the device. This port allows you to connect additional USB devices, such as MIDI controllers, keyboards, or external drives, saving valuable ports on your computer. This practical design helps maintain a clean and organized workspace, while offering maximum functionality in an ultra-compact and stylish white enclosure.

Complete Creation Software Package

Arturia offers a huge software bundle with the card that covers every stage of production. Included is Ableton Live Lite for recording and mixing, Analog Lab Intro with hundreds of legendary synthesizer sounds, as well as 4 premium Arturia effects. In addition, you will find GUITAR RIG 6 LE for guitar amplifiers, as well as three-month subscriptions to Auto-Tune Unlimited and the Splice Creator Plan, providing a complete production solution right after purchase.

Professional Outputs and Monitoring Control

In the field of monitoring, the MiniFuse 1 features an independent 1/4" headphone output with its own volume control, allowing you to work silently at any time. For connecting to your speakers, there are Monitor Outputs (Left/Right) on the back, which are controlled by the main large listening level knob. This separation offers absolute control over the volume, ensuring that you hear your production with maximum accuracy and detail.

This review is about a variation of the product

Coming from a Focusrite Scarlett, which served me for about 12 years, I bought the MiniFuse 1 as a replacement and mainly as a more casual, on-the-go audio interface for easy transport and daily use.

The differences compared to the older generation Scarlett were relatively small and I admit I expected a bit more in terms of audio upgrade. Technically, the sound seemed less defined compared to the Scarlett (as defined as it can get in this price range, of course), though I can't say for sure whether this is due to the converters or the signal paths of the inputs and outputs. This evaluation was done on ADAM A7X.

Nevertheless, I was left with a very good impression regarding the drivers, which are stable and reliable, as well as Arturia's management software, which is well-designed and user-friendly.

Overall, I think it is a very good solution for portable use, home studio, and on-the-go setup, especially if someone wants something small, practical, and with modern software support.

    Impeccable interface
Perfect build quality, excessively small in size. Plug and play with very good drivers and settings from software.
Tremendous quality in the headphones, I will try it with headphones of higher ohms and lower sensitivity.
The software that comes with it (daw, effects, etc.) is literally unbeatable.
It's time to buy something other than Scarlett Solo, at this price the interface is unmatched
