After 6.5 years of uninterrupted (daily 7-10 double espressos) operation, my De'Longhi Magnifica S stopped working this week. So—because I am extremely satisfied with the brand—I went on Skroutz the same minute and ordered the Evo, choosing it for its more modern appearance. My reasoning was "As long as it's Delonghi, anything goes." For now, I've had it for 2 days and of course, I'm super satisfied. I haven't dealt with settings etc. yet because I was simply suffering from caffeine deprivation. When I get back to normal, I'll look into those too! It makes a slightly different noise from the S (this one sounds a bit like a spaceship), but I can't say it's more or less noisy.
I hope this one lasts as long as its predecessor. I will return in the future with more information.

Οπότε -επειδή είμαι υπερευχαριστημένος από τη μάρκα- μπήκα το ίδιο λεπτό skroutz και παράγγειλα την Evo με κριτήριο την πιο σύγχρονη εμφάνιση. Το σκεπτικό μου ήταν "Delonghi να ναι και ότι ναναι". Προς το παρόν την έχω 2 ημέρες και φυσικά είμαι σούπερευχαριστημένος. Δεν έχω ασχοληθεί ακόμα με ρυθμίσεις κτλ γιατί απλά είχα στέρηση καφείνης. Όταν επανέλθω στα φυσιολογικά μου θα τα δω και αυτά! Κάνει λίγο διαφορετικό θόρυβο από την S (αυτή εδώ ακούγεται λίγο σαν διαστημόπλιο) αλλά δε μπορώ να πω ότι είναι περισσότερο ή λιγότερο θορυβώδης.
Ελπίζω να κρατήσει και αυτή σαν την προκάτοχο της. Θα επανέλθω στο μέλλον με περισσότερες πληροφορίες.

For the second time at the service, the machine gets stuck on descale and you can't do anything except send it for service. As a machine, it makes very good coffee. The machine was bought in 2024 and with every descaling it has to go for service... Anyone who checks Reddit etc. will see that this is a general problem.

Ίσως φταίει το νερό της περιοχής ή ότι δεν βάζω πια φίλτρο νερού και της βάζω εμφιαλωμένο νερό μέσα. Σε κάθε περίπτωση είναι value for money. Γενικά με καφέ τύπου cappuccino τα πάει καλύτερα από ό,τι σε freddo espresso γιατί στον freddo καταλαβαίνω ότι χρειάζεται περισσότερη πίεση για να βγει όπως της καφετέριας. Ο ήχος είναι υποφερτός αλλά μην περιμένετε ήχο nespresso, ειδικά η άλεση είναι δυνατή στον ήχο αλλά είναι φυσιολογικό.

Την έχουμε ένα χρόνο είναι πολύ καλή κ εύκολη στιν χρήση. Πινεις φρεσκο και καλό καφέ αρκεί να πάρεις και πιο premium ποικίλες.
Για το καθάρισμα έχει πολλά βιντεακια στο ίντερνετ που είναι βοηθητικά.

Ζεσταίνεται σε 3 λεπτά, κάνει κατευθείαν ξεβγαλμα και είναι έτοιμη για καφέ. ο θόρυβος του κόφτη είναι ανεκτός. μετά τους 10 πρώτους καφέδες αρχίζει και δουλεύει όπως θα έπρεπε. πλέον οι καφέδες είναι σε πολύ ικανοποιητικό επίπεδο και ανάλογα τους κόκκους βγάζει την αντίστοιχη ποιότητα καφέ. καθαρίζεται πολύ εύκολα και δεν αφήνει καθόλου σημάδια νερού ή καφέ.

After 6.5 years of uninterrupted (daily 7-10 double espressos) operation, my De'Longhi Magnifica S stopped working this week. So—because I am extremely satisfied with the brand—I went on Skroutz the same minute and ordered the Evo, choosing it for its more modern appearance. My reasoning was "As long as it's Delonghi, anything goes." For now, I've had it for 2 days and of course, I'm super satisfied. I haven't dealt with settings etc. yet because I was simply suffering from caffeine deprivation. When I get back to normal, I'll look into those too! It makes a slightly different noise from the S (this one sounds a bit like a spaceship), but I can't say it's more or less noisy.
I hope this one lasts as long as its predecessor. I will return in the future with more information.
Μετά από 6,5 χρόνια αδιάκοπης (καθημερινά 7-10 διπλούς εσπρέσσο) λειτουργίας, η De'Longhi Magnifica S μου σταμάτησε να δουλευει αυτήν την εβδομάδα. Οπότε -επειδή είμαι υπερευχαριστημένος από τη μάρκα- μπήκα το ίδιο λεπτό skroutz και παράγγειλα την Evo με κριτήριο την πιο σύγχρονη εμφάνιση. Το σκεπτικό μου ήταν "Delonghi να ναι και ότι ναναι". Προς το παρόν την έχω 2 ημέρες και φυσικά είμαι σούπερευχαριστημένος. Δεν έχω ασχοληθεί ακόμα με ρυθμίσεις κτλ γιατί απλά είχα στέρηση καφείνης. Όταν επανέλθω στα φυσιολογικά μου θα τα δω και αυτά! Κάνει λίγο διαφορετικό θόρυβο από την S (αυτή εδώ ακούγεται λίγο σαν διαστημόπλιο) αλλά δε μπορώ να πω ότι είναι περισσότερο ή λιγότερο θορυβώδης.
Ελπίζω να κρατήσει και αυτή σαν την προκάτοχο της. Θα επανέλθω στο μέλλον με περισσότερες πληροφορίες.
Some model batches or versions, as it seems, are problematic and have an issue with descale (descaling). For the second time at the service, the machine gets stuck on descale and you can't do anything except send it for service. As a machine, it makes very good coffee. The machine was bought in 2024 and with every descaling it has to go for service... Anyone who checks Reddit etc. will see that this is a general problem.
Κάποια μοντέλα παρτίδες η αλλιώς version απο οτι φαίνεται ειναι προβληματικά και εχουν θεμα με το descale (αφαλάτωση) 2 φορά στο service η μηχανή κολλάει στο descale και δεν μπορείς να κάνεις τίποτα παρά μόνο να πάει για service. Σαν μηχανή πολυ καλός καφες η μηχανή αγοράστηκε 2024 και σε κάθε αφαλάτωση πάει για service..... όποιος το ψάξει reddit κτλπ θα δει οτι έχει γενικό πρόβλημα με αυτό.
My purpose was to make Freddo espresso at home and not pay for it outside. I get beans from my favorite café next to my work. I won't say the coffee comes out the same as in the coffee shop, which is obviously logical, but I also won't say it comes out very close. That is, I am satisfied with the coffee machine, but if I had paid €1000 for it, I wouldn't be. Also, it has its moods, meaning sometimes even though I descale it once a month with the original cleaning liquid, I will still make coffee and it will taste bitter. Maybe it's the water in the area or the fact that I no longer use a water filter and put bottled water in it. In any case, it is value for money. Generally, it does better with cappuccino-type coffee than with freddo espresso because with freddo I understand that it needs more pressure to come out like in the coffee shop. The sound is tolerable but don't expect a Nespresso sound, especially the grinding is loud but that's normal.
Ο σκοπός μου ήταν να φτιάχνω Freddo espresso στο σπιτι και να μην πληρώνω απέξω. Παίρνω κόκκους από το αγαπημένο μου καφέ δίπλα στη δουλειά. Ο καφές δε θα πω ότι βγαίνει ίδιος με της καφετέριας που είναι και προφανώς λογικό αλλά δε θα πω ότι βγαίνει και πάρα πολύ κοντά. Δηλαδή εγώ είμαι ευχαριστημένη από την καφετιέρα αλλά αν είχα δώσει 1000€ για αυτήν, δε θα ήμουν. Επίσης είναι με τις ορέξεις της δηλαδή κάποιες φορές ενώ κάνω αφαλατωση μια φορά τον μήνα με το original υγρό καθαρισμού, παρόλα αυτά θα φτιάξω καφέ και θα πικρίζει. Ίσως φταίει το νερό της περιοχής ή ότι δεν βάζω πια φίλτρο νερού και της βάζω εμφιαλωμένο νερό μέσα. Σε κάθε περίπτωση είναι value for money. Γενικά με καφέ τύπου cappuccino τα πάει καλύτερα από ό,τι σε freddo espresso γιατί στον freddo καταλαβαίνω ότι χρειάζεται περισσότερη πίεση για να βγει όπως της καφετέριας. Ο ήχος είναι υποφερτός αλλά μην περιμένετε ήχο nespresso, ειδικά η άλεση είναι δυνατή στον ήχο αλλά είναι φυσιολογικό.
