The Gxx series photoelectric sensors are general-purpose switches used in mechanical systems and equipment for non-contact monitoring of object movement. They operate based on the photoelectric principle – within the sensor, there is a light emitter and a receiver for the returning light. There are three types of sensors: diffuse sensors, retroreflective sensors, and emitter-receiver sensors. These types of sensors differ in how the light returns. They allow for the adjustment of the starting distance and are developed based on PNP and NPN poles. They feature small dimensions and have a metal cylindrical housing that is shock-resistant and a plastic cover resistant to oil and water.
